The Intellectual Property Office UK (IPO) is the official UK government body responsible for intellectual property (IP) rights including patents, designs, trade marks and copyright.

BIPC North East are pleased to welcome the Intellectual Property Office team (IPO) to Newcastle for a one-off CPD-accredited one-day workshop in October:

Tuesday 13th October, 10.00am - 4.30pm Newcastle City Library, Bewick Hall (Level 2), 33 New Bridge Street West, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8AX.

The full day session is designed for business owners, inventors, designers, coaches, accountants, lecturers, and IP managers. Led by the IPO Business Outreach Team and you’ll gain practical insights into:

• protecting and defending your IP in the UK and abroad
• understanding others’ IP to avoid legal issues
• managing trade secrets and confidentiality

The workshop is interactive and engaging, featuring presentations, case studies, quizzes, and exercises. A booklet is provided for reference.
