✨ Last month, employees from across ADSL travelled to Newbury Racecourse for the annual Values Awards Ceremony 2026, a chance to celebrate those whose dedication, teamwork and commitment have made a real difference over the past year.

From supporting one another through challenges, to finding better ways of delivering services to our customer, every nominee had a story worth sharing.

☀️🌳 Our ‘Get Exploring this Summer’ wellbeing challenge has officially come to an end!

Over the past few months, ADSL employees have shared their favourite places across the UK, creating an incredible map packed with walks, beaches, forests, historic sites, family attractions and hidden gems. 🗺️📍

From peaceful riverside strolls and coastal adventures to places filled with memories, every recommendation tells a story about the value of getting outside and making time for yourself and those around you.

The finished map is a reminder that some of the best moments are often the simplest: fresh air, open spaces and discovering somewhere new.

🌉🌴🔎 What do building a miniature bridge, surviving in the wilderness and escaping a digital escape room have in common?

Over the last few weeks, they helped us discover the next generation of apprentices at ADSL.

Candidates for CIS Engineer, Plumber, Data Analyst and Fire Advisor Apprentice roles took on a variety of challenges that tested creativity, teamwork, problem-solving and attention to detail. Along the way, one thing became clear: success wasn't about being the loudest voice. It was about supporting others, sharing ideas and working together.

Soon, the successful candidates will start a new journey, combining practical experience with college learning to develop skills for the future. We wish them every success in this next chapter. 🚀👏

🐾🐕‍🦺 While usually home to performances and community events, Tidworth Garrison Theatre recently hosted a specialist training exercise.

Ministry of Defence Police Dog Handler PC Highmore and dog Nelly, Handler PC Murray and dog Misty, and Handler PC Murphy and dog Jerry joined us to put their search capabilities to the test. With hides hidden throughout the building and surrounding areas, the dogs carefully investigated each location, guided by their handlers and rewarded with their favourite ball when they successfully found an item. 🥎

Training like this helps maintain skills that support the MoD, and in our management of Tidworth Garrison Theatre, we are proud to enable this to happen.

📱🤝 When your work takes you across workshops, woodlands, sports facilities and armouries, knowing support is only a touch away can make all the difference.

Over the last 14 months, employees from across the business have helped shape a lone worker technology programme, provided by Peoplesafe, that now supports more than 90 people in a wide range of roles.

What started with the Environmental Team as a small trial quickly grew through honest feedback, practical testing and a shared commitment to finding what works in real-world scenarios. From engineers and surveyors to helpdesk operatives and sports assistants, every insight helped refine the solution.

This is more than a piece of technology. It's about helping our people feel connected, supported and confident wherever their work takes them.

💼🏢 Earlier this month, our Recruitment and HR Team joined the British Forces Resettlement Services Careers Fair at Tidworth Leisure Centre, where we met veterans, jobseekers, and members of the community looking for new opportunities.

It was a great day filled with conversations about careers, skills, and the many ways people can make a difference behind the scenes while supporting the military community. Events like this are a great way to meet talented people face-to-face and share what makes ADSL such a rewarding place to work.

Last month, we hosted our Aspire Business Centre (ABC) Half Year Review, bringing together coworkers from the ABC to celebrate achievements from the first half of 2026 and learn more about the projects being delivered by teams across the building.

From IT, Finance, Procurement, Health & Safety and Quality to the many dedicated teams that support our business, the event showcased how collaboration and shared expertise help us deliver better outcomes and support our mission of Making Soldiers’ Lives Better.

It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow employees, share ideas and see first-hand how each team plays a part in our success. The day was rounded off with a complimentary lunch and the opportunity to enjoy a slice of cake from the charity bake sale in support of Breast Cancer Now. 🧁

🚧🏗️ Construction has begun in Tidworth and Warminster on a programme of improvements that will support soldiers from 2 R YORKS, The Royal Lancers and 1 Medical Regiment.

Over the next few years, new and upgraded facilities will create better places to work, train, and socialise. While cranes and construction crews may be the visible signs of progress at the moment, the real impact will be felt by the people who use these spaces every day once finished.

We're proud to help create environments that support those serving our country and strengthen military communities for the future.

☀️⚡ At Larkhill Garrison, more than 4,000 solar panels are now generating clean energy that will help power daily operations while reducing carbon emissions. The new solar array is expected to produce enough electricity each year for around 630 homes, with extra power shared across neighbouring Army locations.

There's also a designated space for butterflies and other wildlife, showing how practical infrastructure and biodiversity can work hand in hand. 🦋🌿
