❌ MYTH: Wood burning stoves are being banned
✅ FACT: They are NOT being banned.

What is happening is tighter regulations to make sure stoves are cleaner and more efficient—and that’s a good thing 👍

💡 Here’s what you need to know:

✔️ Modern stoves are designed to burn fuel much more cleanly than older models
✔️ When installed and used correctly, they are completely safe
✔️ Using the right fuel (dry, seasoned wood) massively reduces smoke and emissions
✔️ Regular chimney sweeping and maintenance is essential
✔️ Many stoves are fully compliant with current UK regulations

⚠️ The real issue isn’t the stove—it’s how it’s used.

Burning wet wood, poor installation, or lack of maintenance can cause problems. But used properly? A wood burning stove is a reliable, efficient, and safe way to heat your home.
