🐭🍂 As the Temperature Drops, Unwanted Visitors Start Looking for Somewhere Warm…

Autumn is here, and while we start spending more time indoors, unfortunately rats and mice have the same idea!

As temperatures fall, rodents begin looking for warm, dry places with easy access to food and shelter – and your home, garage, loft or business premises can provide exactly what they're looking for.

Keep an eye out for some of the common warning signs:

🐭 Droppings in cupboards, garages or lofts
🔊 Scratching or movement, particularly at night
🦷 Gnaw marks on wood, packaging or cables
📦 Damaged food packaging
👃 Unusual smells in enclosed areas

The earlier a rodent problem is identified, the easier it is to get under control.

At MNS Pest Control Services, we don't just deal with the immediate problem. We use our experience to identify how pests are getting into your property and advise on measures to help prevent them coming back.

Have you noticed something a little unusual at home? 👀🏠

Droppings, scratching noises, damaged food packaging or nests can all be signs that pests have moved in.

It’s easy to hope they’ll disappear on their own, but dealing with the problem early can save you a lot of hassle later. 🐭🐀

🐝⚠️ An Emergency Wasp Call-Out With a Difference… ⚠️🐝

An interesting—and concerning—call-out for MNS Pest Control Services recently.

A lady with mobility difficulties contacted us in a panic after wasps had managed to break through the artex ceiling and enter the room below. Unfortunately, she had already been stung by the time she called us.

As you can see in the video, the wasps were actively using the hole they had created in the ceiling to enter the room.

Knowing the circumstances, we attended within a very short time, treated the wasp problem and made the area safe again—much to our customer's relief.

This is a great example of why unusual wasp activity shouldn't be ignored. Nests can be hidden within lofts, roof spaces and wall cavities, and occasionally the wasps can find their way through into the property itself.

If you're concerned about a wasp nest at your home or business, don't put yourself at risk trying to deal with it yourself.
