Our Minecraft Holiday Club is filling up fast! We still have a handful of places available on 11th, 12th or 14th August at Bure Valley Primary School, Aylsham.

Top Tip 10: Offer choices but not too many: Giving your child two or three options can help them feel in control without becoming overwhelmed.

If you're finding the summer holidays harder than you expected, you're not alone, especially when you're supporting a neurodivergent young person. We're sharing our top tips to help you through.

Top Tip 9: Hunger, thirst, tiredness and overheating can make it much harder to cope. Regular snacks, drinks, rest and sun protection can make a big difference.

Summer holidays can be wonderful, but they can also be overwhelming for neurodivergent children and their families. If things feel tricky at times, our daily tips may help.

Top Tip 8: Support unexpected changes: when plans change, stay calm, explain what has changed, validate your child's feelings and help them adjust at their own pace.

It's okay if the summer holidays don't feel relaxing every day. Supporting a neurodivergent child through a change in routine can be challenging, and small changes can make a big difference.

Top Tip 7: Talk about upcoming events in the way your child understands best, whether that's through conversation, pictures, a visual schedule, a social story or a written list.
