🐟 **FISH FRIDAY – FRESH TUNA STEAKS!**

Just look at this beautiful fresh tuna!

**Top-quality, super sashimi-grade Yellowfin Tuna – simply the best!**

Caught by hook and line in the waters around Sri Lanka, this premium AA-grade tuna is prized for its beautiful deep red colour, firm, meaty texture and rich yet delicate flavour.

Keep it simple! Pan-sear your tuna steaks with a little olive oil, freshly ground black pepper and a squeeze of lemon. Enjoy it as rare as you like, or try something different with a little wasabi or a poppy seed crust. Delicious!

🐟 This week’s fish is halibut 🐟

Did you know halibut can grow to over 9 feet long? It’s the largest flatfish in the ocean!

Its name means “holy flatfish”, reflecting its traditional popularity on religious holy days.

With a mild, slightly sweet flavour and firm flesh that cooks into tender flakes, it’s a lovely fish to try at home.

This week we’re putting the spotlight on HAKE!

If you usually buy cod or haddock, then you’re going to love hake!

Hake is a delicious white fish with a delicate, slightly sweet flavour and lovely flaky flesh.

It’s a firm favourite in Spain and Portugal, and it’s easy to see why! Whether baked, grilled or pan-fried, it’s incredibly versatile.

FISH FRIDAY – WE'VE GOT THE PLAICE TO BE!

This week's fish is our beautiful Faroe Islands Plaice.

According to Paul, autumn is one of the best times to enjoy it. The quality is fantastic at the moment, with lovely thick, generous fillets. In fact, they're so big that you could easily get two smaller portions from one fillet!

PAUL'S RECIPE OF THE WEEK
Golden, Crispy Breaded Plaice

Paul has a little trick for getting that perfect crispy coating.

Mix ordinary breadcrumbs with panko breadcrumbs. The finer crumbs fill the gaps between the larger panko pieces, giving your fish a lovely, even coating.

1. Dip your plaice in seasoned flour.
2. Coat in beaten egg.
3. Press into your breadcrumb mixture.
4. Pan-fry in oil over a medium heat for around 3½ minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through.

Serve with chunky chips, garden peas, tartare sauce and a wedge of lemon.

And if you fancy giving Paul's recipe a go, we sell panko breadcrumbs for just £1 a tray, so there's no need to buy a big packet!
