As it’s been more than a couple of years, I thought I’d do a little reintroduction!

My names Fern and I’m a BSc qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist accredited with the Register for Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP) ✨
I am fully insured and small animal first aid certified 🐶

I currently provide mobile animal physiotherapy to your home, in and around Nottinghamshire, including manual therapy, electrotherapies and remedial exercise therapy 😊

When I was 4 years old, I told my mum that I wanted to grow up and make doggies feel better, and well, 4 year old me knew what she wanted and now I do just that 🥰

When I’m not making doggies feel better I can be found *trying* to turn this little fire cracker, Bronwen, into a fully fledged gundog 🦆 So if you would like some free entertainment, you can follow along just to see how that works out 😅

From Week 1 Puppy Gundog Class to just after Week 1 Level One Gundog Class ✨🐶

Safe to say this little girl is smashing it and still only 7 months old!! From not even being able to walk on a slip lead, let alone heel - to being able to heel off lead consistently for a couple minutes at a time ☺️

Is she perfect at it yet? No …. But are we continuing to work on it? Yes 🙌🏼

Massive thank you to for all you’ve taught us and for the continued support even when I’m doing it wrong 🙈 Couldn’t recommend a better Gundog trainer!

Meet Gizmo 🐶🐾

This beautiful boy is as active as you’d expect from a young Border Collie 😅
He’s experienced some intermittent back pain and lameness recently and so we are going to work on pain management while also keeping his brain fulfilled and his body working in the correct way 🐾

If you have a working dog, don’t let little niggles go unnoticed! Most of the time we can stop them from becoming bigger issues 😃

Happy 14th Birthday Milo Moo 🥳🎂🎁🎈🎉

This happy chappy enjoys regular physiotherapy sessions to keep on top of his comfort and movement now he’s older and sugar coated 🥰
To say he was once a chompy boy 🐊 he now thoroughly enjoys his physiotherapy sessions, especially the licky cheese 🧀

Older dogs don’t have to look and act old, they can enjoy a happy life just like when they were younger, as long as they have a little help from us ✨

If you can see signs that your dog is starting to “slow down” or are “getting older” it’s definitely worth seeking out a qualified vet physio to help with home considerations and pain management ☺️ - a little goes a long way!

Hugo is certainly not a straight forward case but he is the sweetest boy underneath it all! Thoroughly enjoying seeing him relax during appointments now, and all of the kisses of course 🤩

Buddy decided that the folder I found to use for his strengthening exercises would be more suited as a pillow 🫠

Strength and conditioning exercises can be very tiring for dogs who are younger, older or who haven’t been worked before, both physically and mentally!

That’s why it’s so important that your dog receives an exercise plan tailored specifically to them, to prevent injury and produce results 💪🏼
