Not all EV charger installations are straightforward 😉⚡

At this large property in Plymouth, the customer opted for us to upgrade their incoming DNO supply to 3-phase, allowing us to install a 22kW super-fast charger for maximum charging speeds at home.

We fitted the Zaptec Go2— a fantastic Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) capable charger that future-proofs the property and allows the family to charge quickly between work and their busy lifestyle.

With this new technology, we also had to future-proof the earthing system by installing specialist earthing discs buried in the ground, combined with conductive concrete. This ensures the system is ready for future V2G functionality — allowing the vehicle to feed power back into the home during peak energy periods.

✔ Over 40m of Doncaster EV Ultra cable installed
✔ Full 3-phase upgrade completed
✔ 22kW charging capability
✔ V2G-ready infrastructure

The customer has already asked us back to install a second charger and a ground-mounted solar PV system ☀️🔋
