Hi Everyone
Didn’t realise my last post was over a month ago! Where has that month gone!
Well next week im having a well needed week off with my family to recharge.
So here’s a little catch up with my lovely ladies.
Mrs G my longest client of 8+ years is doing well. She now gets to go downstairs in the nursing home to socialise with other residents which she loves. Its so lovely to see her smiling, she still loves a nail pamper as well 🥰
Miss K is loving her independence. She now goes out by herself on her mobility scooter to do a bit of shopping. Her independence means everything to her, its so important. She is kept busy with social afternoons where she lives. She was the one i used to worry about the most if i took time off but now i dont. Its just so lovely for her. We always enjoy our Wednesday trips out and lunch and a catch up. 🥰
Mrs B likes getting out even if it is just to do her shopping. We often stop for a cuppa before we start the shop.
Mrs O is doing ok. Shes always very smiley and loves to get out. She does get tired quickly now and her eyesight isnt as good so if we are out for a few hours we now take a wheelchair just for safety. She enjoys her lunch out on a Tuesday and we have a wander or drive somewhere. She also loves a nail pamper🥰.
Mrs M is my last lady on a Friday afternoon. Always a little reluctant to leave the house but once we are out she loves it. We always grab a cuppa somewhere after a little drive out. So at the moment all is good. 🥰
Again i wish more people did what i do. Its so needed in the community.

Evening everyone, don’t know about you but im loving summer right now, no coats, boots etc bring it on! 😆
Its lovely getting my ladies out in the sunshine, a good dose of Vit D does them the world of good. 😃😎
My lovely Mrs O, we go out twice a week, one day for lunch and a wander/ or leisure drive and one day for a cuppa and a toasted teacake for elevenses 😁. She loves getting out, we chat about lots of things and she loves the scenery wherever we go. I do her nails too either a Tues of Friday. Usually she is asleep when i do her nails as we have just come back from an outing and the extra stimulation exhausts her. But i dont mind that. I sit with her and make sure shes ok for a while before i leave.
Mrs B usually does her shopping with me on her morning. Or if there are doctors or chemist visits we do that also. Her legs are so much better now and doesn’t need them dressed anymore which is really good news.
Miss K is doing great, she actually ventured out on her mobility scooter for the first time by herself last weekend to get a bit of shopping which is a big step for her. She said she felt a little bit nervous but pushed herself which is really good. Shes so independent now its great.
Mrs M is doing ok although the heat doesnt really do her any favours as its always so much harder to breathe for people with her kind of ailments. But she pushes through with a little encouragement. Once shes out for some fresh air she loves it.
Mrs G is still so smiley. Shes spends more time in the lounge now in her care home, instead of staying in her room. Which is great, as she talks to everyone while sharing sweets etc. I always pick up some fresh fruit, sweets or flowers from her daughters every week, plus a cheeky can of G and T ( every girl loves a treat!)😁. Shes loves her little fresh snack days 😉 even though shes totally bedridden. I do her nails most weeks as she loves a bit of a pamper.

Evening everyone!
I have a question, do you or do you know anyone that would like to do the job i do. Care experience is a must really as well as experience with Dementia. A car, business car insurance, a DBS and business insurance is a must also. I have been approached to take a lovely lady ( in a care home) with mild dementia out to lunch once or twice a week? But sadly im full with a waiting list and cant take anymore clients right now.
It is the most rewarding job and you make great friendships along the way. If you know anyone please message me. 🥰

Hello all! They sun is shining woo hoo!! 😎
Well as usual its been a busy few weeks. Ive had one of my ladies, Mrs B, in hospital with Sepsis, thankfully shes doing ok and is home again now. Shes quite happy to get back to as normal as possible. She loves to get out for some fresh air even if it is to do her shopping.
Mrs O has had a birthday, she had a lovely day spent with her family and had a nice meal to celebrate. We go out every Tuesday for lunch, she usually enjoys her fish and chips. Either the Tuesday or the Friday we keep her nails freshly manicured and painted, she loves that. Our Friday visit is a bit shorter but we always get out and have a cuppa somewhere.
Mrs G seems happy when i visit on a Wednesday armed with goodies which i pick up for her on behalf of her daughters. Usually chocolates, fresh fruit and a drink of some sort. Shes very partial to a G and T so has had a few cans of those too. I trim and paint her nails every other week as well.
Miss K is doing great, where she lives have new owners so the restaurant is now up and running again. So she can have a freshly cooked lunch every day like before and socialise. She enjoys the bingo and other entertainment where she lives which is fantastic.
Mrs M is doing ok as well. Always a bit anxious about going out but once out of the house and in the car shes absolutely fine. We go out for a cuppa and a stroll to give her a bit of exercise. It maybe Buckfast Abbey, or any of the garden centres. She will always enjoy a cuppa with me.
Well as we now endure another mini heatwave, please be mindful of your elderly neighbours. They do forget to keep themselves hydrated and its so important with the heat.

Hi All,
Im still awaiting proper flip flop weather dont know about you!! 🤣.
So anyway, just finished my last day before a well needed week off. ( and my birthday 😁)
All 5 of my ladies are doing ok at the mo.
Mrs G is doing fine in her nursing home, her meds have changed for the better and she seems alot happier and talkative. Loves having her nails done💅🏻 and actually told me shes bored!! For those that know her, thats really something for Mrs G. She has come from having a heart attack, breaking her hip and being on end of life care to this today! Shes pretty remarkable!
Mrs B is having her leg dressings changed every week, so its a trip to kingsbridge hospital then off to do her shopping or vice verser depending on what time her appointment is. But shes doing ok.
Miss K is doing great also. Still loving her little social life. Winning at their regular bingo sessions and watching their entertainment of an afternoon. Every Saturday she gets on her mobility scooter and follows her friend to get some shopping in. Shes so happy where she is.
Mrs M is doing fine also. She gets a little anxious about going out but once out, she loves it. We go to garden centres, cafes, coffee shops. We try and think of different places to go each time. She also loves having her nails done 😁💅🏻.
Mrs O has settled well into her care home setting, she gets up and dances when the entertainment is on, she also loved the Elvis impersonator! We have a lovely time out, going for lunch on a Tuesday and out for a cuppa on a friday. She absolutely loves her fish and chips when we are out. Then when we get back if her nails need doing we have a nail pamper and she always falls asleep whilst im doing it. She finds it so relaxing 💅🏻🥰. Below are a couple of photos from the last few weeks. Good morning! Happy Easter to you all. Here’s hoping for some Easter sunshine!
My ladies are doing ok. I have 5 during the week now so im pretty busy. Mrs B hasn’t been too good on her poorly legs so ive been doing her shopping and driving her to hospital appointments. She hasnt been able to see her poorly son in hospital for 5 weeks now due to him being in quarantine but fingers crossed next week we will be able to go in.🥰
Mrs O is now feeling better after a cough which made her feel a bit low. We have had some nice trips out in the sunshine and that always perks her up, ive given her a few nail pampers as well 😉. She is adjusting to her new surroundings well and has a few of her home comforts in her new room to make it feel a little less alien. Shes always happy come come out with me and we chat constantly, shes a delight 😍
Mrs G is doing ok, shes confined to bed now but enjoys her fresh snacks that i bring in for her especially chocolate and cakes!! She seems happy during my visits though.
Miss K is doing great. Shes quite the social butterfly and is quite often missing family phone calls because she is downstairs socialising and having fun winning at Bingo which is just great! 😆
Her life has changed so much since she moved and has said its the best thing that could have happened. Im so thrilled for her because if there was a time i couldn’t make it in to her, i know she would be absolutely fine and not alone. 🥰
Mrs M loves a friday jaunt out somewhere, sometimes a bit hesitant when i arrive but once shes in the car her whole persona changes and she loves it, wherever we go. Once again we are not stop chatting. I always get a lovely cuddle when i leave as well. ( i love a hug🥰).

Hi all,
I cant reiterate this enough for everyone….
As we get older so do our beloved parents. One of the main things to do that is SO important is to get Power of Attorney. Your loved ones may live a happy and healthy life till they pass, but sadly some dont. The Power of Attorney is the permission for you to have that loved ones voice when they can’t anymore. The authorities ( Adult social services, council, Doctors, Banks etc) require this to help you. Without it you are powerless to help.
Trust me it will be the best thing you ever do for your loved one.

Here are some of my past and present clients, dating back from 2017, a few from the beginning arn’t here as they were quite poorly but im still in touch with a few of their famillies🥰
I love what i do, and ive been very honoured to be part of their lives when they needed a bit of extra support. I wish more people did this. Its the most rewarding job, but being their friend is very special indeed.

Oh my goodness how lovely is this! I could never get four of my lovely ladies together with me as its just not possible, but ive managed an AI sort of version. Some images have a slight difference but i love it all the same 🥰
