People don't always appreciate just how much goes into running a small trade business.

They see you turn up, do the job and send the invoice.

What they don't see is the quoting after hours, chasing payments, sorting materials, dealing with customers, keeping the books straight and trying to find time for the next job.

And that's all on top of actually doing the work you're being paid for. 😂

Being your own boss has its perks, but switching off at 5pm isn't always one of them.

Customer in Bournemouth with a fair few failed/Misted Double Glazed units that needed replacing, we also replaced a couple of window locks and handles and also a set of window hinges 👍

Rental property in Ferndown had some failed/misted double glazed units in all their back doors so definitely didn’t look very nice while trying to see into their garden. We also found while taking the old Units out that the rubber seals around the glass had melted in the heat onto the glass so we also had to replace the rubber too 👍

Another wood internal door from this week, same thing in this flat in Christchurch all outside doors was open and this door slammed shut cracking the bottom half as again with age not safety glass…customer took this opportunity to replace both pieces of glass as they wanted them clear instead…both replaced with clear safety glass 👍

Customer we got given from our friend Wayne at W.B Handyman services….his customers door had slammed shut and being a very old wooden door the glass was not Toughened safety so it cracked…all replaced with safety glass, couldn’t get the exact pattern because of the age but it wasn’t to far off 👍
