We supply access equipment for all types of jobs from small domestic work to larger commercial projects. We recognise the customers' demands and aim to support any specific requirements, including free site surveys should they be required, to make a project as quick and simple as possible. We cover the whole of the UK through a network of small independant companies like ourselves, so you only have to make one phone call to us no matter where in the UK you're working and we will do the hard work in finding you a machine; with the added bonus that you will always pay the same rate.

THE RULES you need to know before you get in an access platform 👌

One ... you need a valid PAL card to operate it. Not optional, not a box-ticking exercise. If yours has lapsed (or never existed), sort that before you get in the machine, not after 👍

Two ... a pre-use check happens every single time. Walk round, check the controls, check the ground. Five minutes at the start of the day, easy!

Three ... LOLER inspections are a legal requirement. Every lifting machine gets thoroughly examined at regular intervals by a competent person. If you're not sure when yours was last tested, that's your next phone call.

Four .... the right machine for the right job. Wrong platform, wrong environment, and it stops being an inconvenience and starts being a liability. Not sure what you need? Call us!

Boring? Maybe 😩 Worth doing properly? Absolutely. It takes two minutes and it's the difference between a smooth day and a very bad one 👊

Some things you just don't do around a MEWP. This is a few of them.

The short version: use it exactly as it's designed to be used, do your checks every time, and don't get creative with a machine that's rated for a specific job. That's the whole secret!

Electric or diesel? It's not about which one's "better" it's about which one's right for the job.

Electric's your indoor mate: quiet, clean, zero fumes, happy in warehouses, retail units, schools, hospitals. Diesel boom lifts are built for outdoors ... construction sites, utilities, telecoms, the big outdoor jobs where power and reach matter more than noise. And then there's the tracked spider lift, the problem solver that fits through a standard doorway and copes with slopes, soft ground and the awkward spots nothing else will touch.

Get the wrong one for the job and you'll know about it fast. Get the right one and it's no faff, no fuss, just sorted.

Right then ... let's talk about hiring a platform because we promise it's nowhere near as complicated as some companies make it look and we've put together this little checklist to prove it! 😄

You ring us, we answer (actual humans, not a robot telling you your call is important before leaving you on hold for twenty minutes), we have a proper conversation about what your job needs, and we sort the right machine from our inspected and tested fleet.

Our driver calls you on the way, turns up on time, walks you through everything you need to know and doesn't disappear before you're comfortable. You crack on with the job. You ring us when you're done. We collect it.

That's genuinely it!

We're also one of the only places in the North West with a fully covered indoor IPAF training centre, so if your PAL card has been quietly judging you from the glovebox for the last six months, we can sort that too! Rain, wind or whatever Lancashire decides to throw at us that day. ☔😄

And if you've got your own machines that are making noises they definitely shouldn't be making, our servicing and LOLER testing team will get them back into shape without the judgement. We've seen some things, we don't ask questions. 😂
