A huge congratulations to Fhunded Angels on winning Tech Investor of the Year at the Prolific North Tech Awards 2026!

It's been fantastic to work alongside Fhunded and see the enthusiasm, commitment and hard work that's gone into building the network.

A brilliant achievement for Rory Southworth and the team, who have helped take Fhunded from a standing start to a network of 55 angels actively investing in Lancashire businesses and creating more opportunities for local businesses to access the funding and support they need to grow.

We're proud to have played a small part in the journey and delighted to see the team get the recognition they deserve!

Business leaders and members of the public joined us at Cotton Court last night for Preston Partnership’s A Mayor for Lancashire?

It was great to be part of this conversation, with everyone from senior business leaders to local residents having the opportunity to put their questions directly to the panel and hear what a mayor could mean for Lancashire.

Thank you to Maya Ellis MP, Henri Murison, Jane Dalton MBA FRSA and Cllr Phil Riley, and to Ed Walker for hosting the evening so well.

If you missed it, you can catch up with the full discussion thanks to Blog Preston:

Still thinking about all the cake from yesterday’s Macmillan Coffee Morning 💚🍰

Thank you to everyone who came along, baked, donated or picked up a takeaway cake. It means a lot to see so many people get behind a cause that’s close to our hearts.

And yes, the cake was excellent. 🙌

There’s still time to donate if you’d like to support Macmillan, use the link in bio!
