We were delighted to sponsor a team of talented young coders from Scorton C of E Primary School as they travelled to London for the Grand Final of the JAM Coding Competition.

The girls, competing under the brilliantly clever team name "Control, Alt and Elite", earned their place in the final after progressing through a field of more than 400 schools. Their impressive performance saw them finish in the Top 19 teams nationally!

Congratulations to the girls, their teachers and everyone who supported them along the way. We are proud to support young people who are developing the digital and problem-solving skills of the future, and we look forward to seeing what they achieve next.

Hospitality, leisure and attraction businesses: a new temporary VAT reduction comes into effect on 25 June 2026.

Under the Government's Great British Summer Savings Scheme, VAT will reduce from 20% to 5% on certain qualifying children's meals, attraction tickets and family entertainment tickets.

Last week, Angela, Michael and Alice attended the Blackpool Dairy Farmers' Association annual farm walk at Moor Laithe Farm, Gisburn, kindly hosted by Frank Wrathall.

The evening provided a great opportunity to meet with local dairy farmers, industry colleagues and sponsors, while taking a closer look at the farm and discussing developments within the dairy sector. The BBQ afterwards was a great way for everyone to get together, share ideas and enjoy the evening.

Thank you to the Blackpool Dairy Farmers' Association and Frank Wrathall for their hospitality and for organising such a successful evening.

What a fantastic day at the Towers & Gornall Annual Golf Day 2026 at Lancaster Golf Club!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, supported the event and helped raise funds for the Towers & Gornall Community Fund and the campaign against Violence to Women and Girls (VAWG).

It was brilliant to see clients, colleagues and local businesses come together for a day of golf, fundraising and great company - all topped off with some healthy competition, plenty of laughs and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day.

Special thanks to Lancaster Golf Club for being wonderful hosts, all of our hole sponsors and raffle prize donors, and everyone who contributed to making the event such a success.

We’re incredibly proud to support our local community and already looking forward to next year’s event!
