A few more photos from our recent trip to south-east Poland, where we crawled around in meadows and woods photographing amazing plants and wildlife, much of which is still found in the UK but either rare or extinct. Meadows buzzing with crickets of many types and surrounded by bird song is something I've never encountered in the UK, which is empty and silent in comparison. 😢
Please add captions or IDs as appropriate, as I don't know all the species, especially the plants and invertebrates.

GOOD NEWS 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💚

The River Wye now has the legal right to flow, to biodiversity and to be free from pollution. This is so important because as we speak, local people who live along the Wye are taking Avara Foods and Welsh Water to court, demanding these companies clean up their river.

We urgently need the government to listen to the people who live along the Wye and take action to STOP water companies polluting our precious rivers. We've lost another duck! Pengy didn't come home last night, so I can only assume a fox has had him.
