Turning back time to May 2025, when our breakfast meeting was hosted by Essex Wildlife Trust at Bedford's Park Nature Discover Centre.

We had a delicious breakfast and a presentation from Grant Maton of Essex Wildlife Trust about the fantastic work that they do.

It was a gorgeous Spring day and we were able to make the most of the beautiful views of London that Bedford's Park has to offer.

We are committed to having our meetings in a different venue every month. We have some great venues coming up for the rest of this year. Let us know in the comments, where would you like to have a meeting? Do you know anyone who can host one of our meetings? We ned space for up to 50 people and the ability to provide hot drinks.

We are really looking forward to returning to The Palms Hotel for our June meeting on Wednesday 24th June.

There will be breakfast, as always as well as plenty of chances to network. This time, there's a £5 charge for members and first timers, to cover the cost of the breakfast and other visitors are £10, includes breakfast.

Chamber member Craig French of The Media Remix Ltd will be speaking on “Why Advertising Fails Before It Starts”.

There is plenty of parking onsite and the Gallows Corner flyover is now OPEN!

Our first Business to Consumer showcase, held in The Liberty Shopping Centre this week was a huge success. Lots of our members, as well as some of the Executive Committee members were in attendance and showing off their businesses.

The Liberty was very busy all day and there were lots of conversations going on and contacts made. Thanks to The Liberty for hosting us and for all of the members who came along and exhibited. Rapid Office Systems provided the tables and chairs for the event.

The Executive Committee of the Havering Chamber of Commerce meet once a month.

The committee is made up of a Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Clergy member and other members, all of whom have their own responsibilities to keep the Chamber running. They discuss, among other things, upcoming events, finances and planning matters that may be of interest (to support or oppose!)

Any member of the Chamber can put themselves forward to join the committee, if they believe they have skills that will come in handy and are backed by at least one other member.
