⭐️⭐️ One Step At A Time ⭐️⭐️

You saw the reel before installation…..
Here’s the finished project…..😍

85 (yes 85 😱 pieces in total)

20mm FugenStone Roma Leathered Quartz was chosen for this customers staircase project.
Bull nose profile and LED lighting channel to each tread and midway landing step.
External & internal side cladding.

Curved base step with the same bull nose profile and LED lighting channel.
The curved down-stand created with 34 individual slightly mitred pieces (we called them soldiers 😄) glued together to form the curves.

2.5 day install with an additional 5 hours to seal up on a Sunday when no other trades were in the property allowing time for adhesives & sealants to set and dry.

On our way home after visiting the lovely city of Verona 🇮🇹 and spending yesterday at Marmomac 2026 which was very interesting and informative. A long day and near on 20,000 steps 👣clocked up walking around the 12 exhibition halls and outdoor areas showcasing materials and machinery.

Also got to see some of our industry contacts and suppliers 😃 and meeting some new contacts.

…..and when in Italy, of course we had to refuel on pizzas 🍕 and pasta 🍝 and maybe one or two proseccos🥂 and beers 🍻 😉

Full day looking at all the exhibitions of various stones from across the world and industry machinery & tooling.

The different stonework on these old structures always amazes us.
This Roman Amphitheater was constructed over 2000 years ago and hosted gladiator fights and games.
….and the thinnest part that is remaining, how is this part of the structure still standing ?? 😱
