I have cried at this ALL morning…
This morning I found this message in my requests box from an unknown man, a complete stranger. His wife passed away 2 years ago.
Turns out I knew her briefly and I taught her kids about 10/15 years ago.
When I started teaching / coaching I really just wanted to make a difference, inspire others and show what was possible for anyone even a girl from a working class town who didn’t have any huge expectations placed on her for anything.
No one expected me to go to medical school and qualify as a doctor, no one expected me to open a business in my early 20s, no one expected me to become a professional performer. I just did it anyway partly because I’m delusional and partly because I’m stubborn AF!
Sometimes it’s hard being present on social media. You get a lot of s**t from random people AND people you look up to in the industry. People tell you your wrong, your showing off, you’re not good enough, you don’t look right… and you think what’s the point.
Recently I thought about stepping back from The Successful Showgirl because of this constant negativity.
But Then I got this message.
So I’m keeping going because you always hear the negative but you rarely hear about the positive impact you’ve made!
You should totally keep going with whatever it is that lights you up too 💋💋💋 I hope this inspires you to do just that!
