Why can’t people just be respectful? It’s exhausting and I’m so done with putting up with nonsense from people I don’t know!

Since becoming a mum and despite my love of performing , I’ve taken a step back from burlesque. Not because I don’t wanna perform nor because I can’t get booked but because I’m sick to death of the bitchiness surrounding this industry (not everyone but too many)

I’m a mum now and I cannot be arsed spending the nights away from my daughter working surrounded by negativity so I don’t. I either don’t perform or I do corporate jobs or circus jobs. This isn’t me being awkward. It’s just facts! And it makes me sad that this is where I am now!

I love burlesque but the nastiness I’ve experienced in this industry is unrivalled so now I avoid it. I just don’t have it in me anymore.

Just treat people kindly or don’t say anything at all! It really is that simple!
