The Summer holidays are nearly over. I hope you have all managed to spend a little time with your loved ones. Making memories is more than going on holiday, it can be spending time cooking in the kitchen or out in the garden.
It’s been a really hot Summer and I know the dogs in our family are grateful for things cooling down. Summer is ending and there’s a whiff of Autumn in the air. When out walking Bonnie we’re seeing lots of multicoloured leaves falling off the trees and the mornings are cooler which is refreshing. As I get older. I’m enjoying the seasons more. We are very fortunate in that spring is full of life, lots of birds lots of buds lots of flowers. And in the summer; this summer particularly we got to see the sun. Autumn signals memories of shiny school shoes, school uniforms and new beginnings.
This September is exciting because my daughter Loll starts her PGCE at a new university.
We’ve made lots of lovely memories this summer with holidays, birthdays, graduation celebration and being together as a family those times will always be precious.
Loll went to her first festival and was camping for four days at Reading having the time of her life.
I can’t wait to see everybody’s back to school photos as they make me smile. I was always pretty rubbish at doing these and quite often, I forgot! Fortunately Holly was young enough not to notice, LOL.
