📍We are pleased to present a curated preview of highlights from our forthcoming Asian & Islamic Art sale at our London Gallery in Cecil Court, from Friday 30 October to Tuesday 3 November.

👀Some of the exceptional works featured include Chinese ceramics from the private collection of Michael George Kuczynski (1941–2025), Cambridgeshire; and an exciting selection of Modern and Contemporary Indian paintings by artists including Francis Newton Souza, Jogen Chowdhury and Maqbool Fida Husain.

🖌️Further highlights showcased in the preview include a rare and impressive blue and white dish from the Yongle period (1403–1424) and a 19th-century album containing fifty paintings depicting the people of India.

🌍We are pleased to share the results of yesterday's Design auction with you, with works from significant collections seeing strong international interest and demonstrating the ongoing importance of good provenance.

🔨Notable highlights include the Doris Lockhart Saatchi collection, with an incredible 95% sold rate.

✨High appreciation was shown for quality works across the auction, with key highlights including a Stuart Devlin rhodonite and gold box which sold for £7,280, a Hans Wegner JH502 swivel chair that fetched £10,590, and a Hervé Van der Straeten buffet which achieved £8,610 (all inc. fees).

Behind the scenes with George Michael and Wham! 📹

Beyond the sold-out concerts, chart-topping records and international fame lies a more personal story, captured through the eyes of someone who was there to witness it.

Among the highlights of Faith & Fame: A Personal George Michael Collection is an intimate photographic archive from the estate of Siobhan Bailey, long-time personal assistant and trusted confidante to George Michael and Wham!.

Comprising forty-nine photographs, many taken by Siobhan herself, the collection captures moments both on and off stage, alongside a personal scrapbook of signed photographs, press cuttings and invitations, including Andrew Ridgeley's 21st birthday celebration and the world premiere of Make It Big.

Together, these pieces offer a fascinating glimpse behind the public image, charting the friendships, experiences and extraordinary journey from Wham!'s early success to George Michael's solo career.
