A fantastic final showcase from our Pilot Enrichment students as they completed their year-long programme. Presenting to an expert panel from Harlow College, Saxon Air, Resilient Pilot, Cambridge Gliding Club, and the Air League, our students delivered professional, engaging and insightful presentations on a range of air crash investigations.

Congratulations to everyone involved on an outstanding achievement and a fitting conclusion to a successful year.

Our Pilot Enrichment students have just finished 3 sessions at Saxonair! ✈️

The sessions included flying a DA40, drone flying, pre-flight checks on different aircraft, marshalling, engineering tasks like locking wire and hydraulics, plus simulator time in an electric aircraft!

Thanks to SaxonAir Private Air Travel for hosting and making it such a valuable opportunity.🙌

The team from Resilient Pilot recently visited our Pilot Enrichment students, delivering a session focused on teamwork and thinking beyond the obvious to develop key pilot competencies.🧠

Recently, our Pilot Enrichment students made the most of their time in the air at the Cambridge Gliding Club, taking part in winch and aerotow launches, using the simulator and even flying in the tug! 🤩

We recently welcomed five guide dogs in training to the College, as part of their familiarisation with new environments, including our aviation facilities and aircraft. The Head of Training described the visit as a valuable and unique experience and more than 100 students took the opportunity to meet them! 🤩🐶
