Their services are invaluable to our community.

We need it to keep running and offering this lifeline to many more people.

Could you give a little something back to your community by driving our wheelchair-accessible car (WAV) to help those with no access to transport?

Drive the WAV (a normal, manual car with a wheelchair ramp in the back) taking both ambulant passengers and wheelchair users to hospitals, doctors, opticians, shopping, visiting family etc.

Full training provided. Full UK licence required.

A fantastic new initiative for the over 65’s…

Please read the below from Elliott at Back In Motion Sports Therapy

I am currently studying for a Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Worcester and looking to set up some community-focused falls prevention classes (strength and balance exercises, both seated and standing) for over 65s right here in Tenbury.

This is a project very close to my heart. The idea came about after a family member unfortunately suffered a bad fall, which had a massive impact on his independence and physical health. I really want to help others in our community avoid going through the same thing.

We are looking at holding these classes in The The Pump Rooms and the Library, but before we finalise anything, I would love to get your feedback:
Would you or a family member be interested in a class like this?
Do you have any preferences for days or timings?

If you would like to chat in person, my placement supervisor (a local Physiotherapist Health Valued ) and I will be visiting two local groups this week to listen to what the community needs:

📍The Library (Dementia Group) - this Thursday
📍The Pump Rooms (Welcome Space) - This Friday
