A really proud moment for me and a business milestone for FARRELL HR. 🏏

We are now sponsors of !!

Having grown up in this lovely village and now raising my own family here, supporting a club that sits right at the heart of our community means a great deal.

TCC has always been about much more than cricket. It’s about bringing people together, creating opportunities for young people, building friendships and keeping community spirit alive.

As a local business owner, being able to give something back to the village that has shaped so much of my life feels incredibly special.

A huge thank you to everyone at TCC for the warm welcome. I’m looking forward to supporting the club and seeing what the rest of the season brings!

Leadership doesn’t happen in isolation.

The best business leaders I know don’t try to figure everything out alone - they collaborate.

They have people they can lean on; people who cheer them on… but just as importantly challenge their thinking, spot what they’ve missed, and tell them the truth when it’s easier not to.

Because when you’re in the thick of decisions, people issues, and constant pressure, your perspective gets narrow fast.

The right people widen it again with kindness and clarity.

And doesn’t it show? Leaders with strong support around them don’t just make better decisions… they recover quicker, think more clearly, and lead with more confidence.

How is it June already??!

Halfway through the year is often when business owners start noticing the people issues they’ve been too busy to tackle.

Got some HR bits you could do with support on?

Not sure how to handle a tricky situation?

Need some expert guidance, reassurance, or an extra pair of hands?

🙋🏼‍♀️ Here’s how I usually work with clients:

🔸 We start with a quick call or meeting to understand what’s going on and what you need support with
🔸 I’ll then send over a proposal, with a few options where possible
🔸 Once we get started, I’ll tackle any quick wins along the way
🔸 I work flexibly — whether that’s ad hoc support (hourly), a monthly retainer, or project-based work

And the best bit? I don’t believe in tying clients into contracts unless that’s what works best for you.

I meet you where you are - even if you’re not completely sure what you need yet.

I was standing in my garden last week thinking… wow, there is SO much to do.

The weeds had taken over, things looked untidy, and I don’t really enjoy gardening - it felt easier to just leave it.

But the longer you leave a garden, the harder it becomes to get back on top of it. The weeds grow deeper, the jobs pile up, and you stop making the most of what you already have.

And that’s exactly what I see happen in businesses when it comes to HR.

Policies haven’t been updated. Processes are inconsistent. Managers are firefighting. Recruitment feels reactive. Employee issues are bubbling away in the background.

It can feel overwhelming, so it gets pushed down the list.

That’s where I come in. 🌱
