We were extremely saddened to hear this news as we have fond memories of Tim from his time in business in the town. Tim was instrumental in establishing the Art Trail which is now a regular feature of Uckfield Late Night Shopping. He was an engaged member of the Chamber and we send our sincere condolences to his wife, family and close friends. Rest in peace Tim.

It is with a very heavy heart we have to share the recent sad passing of Tim Benians.

Many of you will have known Tim from your visits to Uckfield Framing Company over the years, as the original founder and owner of the company before his retirement a few years ago, when Mark & Mandy took over the reins.

Tim always had a welcoming smile and a can-do attitude to any framing challenge, a great ethos we still work to today and all our love, prayers and condolences go to Diana his wife and the family.

Great to have you on board as a member Jimmy…

I'm delighted to tell you that I've renewed my membership with Uckfield Chamber of Commerce for another year. Really enjoyed my 1st year. Met lots of great people and had some fantastic food, especially at the dinner in the Houses of Parliament, which was an amazing experience.

Uckfield High Street update (05.06.26)

Although the immediate danger to the public has been removed from the formerly Maiden's Head pub in Uckfield High Street, there's further work and investigation still to be done.

So far, access to this building hasn't been possible to complete this investigation, so we are pursuing a more formal route to secure access. Works can then be completed and scaffolding can be removed.
