Tomorrow’s the night!💚

We’re so proud to be heading to the Surrey Care Awards 2026 as finalists in three categories:

Tom turned 94 recently, so of course we had to celebrate at Fairway Friends! 🎂 We loved getting together at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club to share some delicious birthday cake in his honour. Happy birthday, Tom, with lots of love from all of us at Sonder! 💚 And thank you to .co.uk for looking after us and always making us feel welcome.🥰 A lovely morning for a lovely man!

Our dementia-friendly screenings are a chance to relax, enjoy a film and spend the afternoon together. The cinema is wheelchair accessible, making it easier for everyone to join us.

We’ve enjoyed some brilliant films and even better company, and we’re already looking forward to the next one! 💚

Our live-in carer lunches are back! 💚

These lunches are a chance for our live-in carers to catch up with one another and enjoy some well-deserved time together away from their usual routines. It was so lovely to see everyone at Garsons Esher and we’re already looking forward to the next one!

Last week we celebrated Stan turning 100 at our Fairway Friends Coffee Morning, with some golfing (thank you Hampton Court Palace Golf Club Get Golfing !), lots of cake and, of course, a big Happy Birthday! Stan had written a few words for the day which we read out together, including “Life is still good to me and long may it last.” We think that sums Stan up perfectly – he’s even taken up ballroom dancing at 100! 🕺💚

We had an amazing time at our Friendship Café! The weeks theme was Musical Appreciation - we played instruments to classic hits, created custom playlists, and danced up a storm! 💃🏻🕺

We had the most spectacular day out cruising down the Thames from Runnymede to Windsor with French Brothers, taking in the beautiful sights before tucking into a fantastic cream tea from Magna Carta Tea Room. 🫖 ✨ Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. What a brilliant day out at the Friendship Café! 💚

We kicked things off with a hilarious round of Guess the Celebrity! 🤔✨ Afterward, everyone enjoyed a variety of table-based games, carefully adapted to suit all needs and abilities. 🎲🏆
