Keeping communities clean takes more than dedication – it takes the right equipment and trusted partnerships. 🚛♻️

We're proud to be supporting Cherwell District Council as they continue to maintain their picturesque district of 60 villages and three urban centres across Oxfordshire. 🏘️

Having worked together for 25 years, the council has recently placed an order for three new Dennis Eagle RCVs, including an Elite+ Narrow and Olympus-bodied vehicles equipped with OmniDEL electric bin lifts. The new additions will help support efficient waste collection while contributing to the council's environmental stewardship goals. 🌱

We had a great day at the annual CIWM and LARAC Midlands Conference, hosted by Craemer UK Ltd, with Ian Bramhall and Chris Wookey representing Dennis Eagle and Terberg Matec UK.

It was fantastic to catch up with customers and delegates from across the sector to discuss the latest challenges, opportunities, and innovations shaping the waste and recycling sector. ♻️

A particular highlight was seeing ‘Trash Gordon’, Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council's 4x2 vehicle, proudly displaying an important message in support of Andys Man Club and their campaign. 🚛🗣️👌

During the event, Ian presented to delegates on the benefits Dennis Eagle offers, including our comprehensive aftermarket support and training and development programmes, all designed to help customers maximise vehicle uptime while investing in their people.

Today is World Environment Day 🌍

Sometimes, the smallest changes can make a meaningful difference.

Over the past year, we've introduced wildflower planting around our site to help support local biodiversity and create habitats for pollinators and other wildlife. 🌼🪻🐞🦋

More recently, we were delighted to discover a family of blue t**s nesting on-site – a wonderful reminder of the positive impact that nature can have. 🪺

While sustainability can mean many things, creating environments where nature can flourish is something we're proud to support. 💚

Next week, we’ll be heading to the picturesque surroundings of Aviemore, Scotland, for the annual APSE Fleet, Waste and Grounds Seminar at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort. 🚛🏔️

We’re looking forward to catching up with our Scottish customers and fellow delegates attending across the four-day event.

So, the all-important question… where can you find us?

Here’s what you’ll be able to see on our stand:

🎓 For the very first time, we’ll be bringing along our Dennis to the Rescue mobile classroom, an engaging educational resource that has supported local authorities and private waste operators with their social value initiatives and community outreach.

🚛 We’ll also be showcasing the OL16 6x2 Narrow rear-steer, ideally suited to both rural and urban Scottish streets, offering excellent manoeuvrability in areas with restricted access or narrow roads.

👋 Joining the team next week will be our Learning and Development Officer, Alice McCabe, who will be available to discuss our latest training courses and career pathway opportunities.
