We have two amazing markets this month: this Thursday evening (18th June) is our Midsummer’s Night Market from 6pm till 9pm, with music, stalls and great food and drink. With Strettea Bakery and their usual delicious breads and desserts, Chorizos Casa Gomez with some wonderful tapas, The Roaming Kitchen doing pizza Corso Italia UK with their amazing arancini, Vegan With Josie and her fabulous fudge Alvi Bro's Homemade Indian too! Music with Vicki, plus many others! And let’s not forget fabulous wine, cider and a fresh delivery of ales by Eyam Brewery!

The weather is set fair so see you there!

Then on Saturday is our regular monthly Orchard Market from 10am till 3pm with a slight theme to English Wine Week

Both free, with free parking and dogs on leads welcome!

Unfortunately, we had a theft at Amber Valley Vineyards overnight. Just out of reach of our cameras.

A solar-powered electric fencing unit was stolen from our site sometime during the night. The stolen unit is a black with orange markings, a solar energiser, and we would be grateful if anyone who sees one being offered for sale locally could let us know. This is particularly disappointing as the equipment is also used to support our regenerative farming and conservation grazing work over the autumn and winter months.

If anyone saw suspicious activity in the Wessington area last night, has been offered a second-hand fencing energiser under unusual circumstances, or has any information that may help identify those responsible, please get in touch by private message.

Equally, if the person responsible is reading this, we'd simply ask that the unit be returned. No questions asked.

Thank you to everyone who keeps an eye out for us and supports what we're trying to achieve here.

Sadly, it’s clear we’ll need to take further steps to improve security. The matter will be reported to police.
