TP VS TL: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
The difference is in the backing, and that directly affects how the belt behaves during sanding.

TP | Tex on Polyester
The polyester backing gives the belt extra strength and dimensional stability. A solid choice for demanding industrial applications where consistent performance and a stable belt are important.

TL | Tex on Cloth
The cloth backing makes the belt more flexible and better able to follow shapes and contours. Ideal when adaptability to the workpiece is more important.

In short:
👉 TP = more stability and strength
👉 TL = more flexibility and conformity

And when it comes to dimensions, we've got you covered.
Our TL belts can be custom-made from 10 mm up to 2.700 mm wide, depending on the application.
