Cibo Abrasives can swiftly manufacture any size, material or grit belt! But how are belts manufactured?

Step 1: Jumbo rolls are slit to width and then the widths are cut to length with the correct angle for the finished joint.
Step 2: The joint edges are then prepared for bonding with the appropriate surface of the material being skived.
Step 3: Adhesive and / or frozen Kevlar or Mylar tape is then applied to the surface of the joint.
Step 4: The joint is press bonded under a controlled heat and pressure to ensure an effective bond.
Step 5: Belts must then be left to cure.
Step 6: When manufacturing narrow belts, they are then slit down into individual belts ready for packing.
