An early 19th or 18th century Zanzibar brass studded dowry/spice chest, 74cm wide, all ready for our next auction on the 5th of July. Hardwood with brass sheet and stud decoration and complete with internal candle tray, but no hidden compartments. We will guide this at around £100.

June 7th auction Lot 291. For viewing this week pre-sale – Late Georgian Draw Leaf and Drop Sided Pembroke Style Mahogany Extending Dining Table. With reeded edge, false draw fronts and two separate leaf sections and brass securing pins, on fluted legs and brass castors. Est £150-200.
c. 1820. Measures approx. 220cm by 109cm overall, 65cm smallest setting.

June 7th auction Lot 290. For viewing this week pre-sale - Late 19th C Double Sided Pine Partners Desk over an arrangement of 8 drawers and 2 panel doors stamped GWR underneath 150cm by 92cm. Est £40-60.
Fair amount of general wear, leather skiver heavily worn, the scumble finish particularly on one side deteriorated.

Coming up for auction in our 7th June sale we have a few rather nice books including this Morris's A History of British Birds with green cloth binding and gilt titling, published by Groombridge in 1866. Complete with all 358 coloured plates across the 6 volumes.
