Supporting our local community is something we’re always happy to be part of! 🌿💚

We recently had the pleasure of donating two bags of amenity bark to a local project that's bringing a new sensory garden to life.

It's lovely to know that something as simple as a couple of bags of bark can help create a space for people to enjoy, explore and connect with nature. 🌱

We're really pleased to have played a small part in the project and can't wait to see how the garden comes together!

☀️ **A fantastic day at Kimmeridge Bay! 🌊♻️**

On Saturday, some of the AMS team, along with their families, headed down to Kimmeridge Bay to take part in a beach clean supporting Project Planet Earth.

We were treated to some lovely autumn sunshine, and it was great to see everyone getting stuck in and doing their bit to help keep our beautiful Dorset coastline clean. 🌿

A big thank you to everyone who came along, especially those who brought their families, and to Project Planet Earth for organising such a worthwhile event.

**A great day out, a great cause and a brilliant team effort! 💚**

It's great to see our donated wood bark being put to good use at Holy Trinity Weymouth with St Nicholas 🌿

The church has been working to rejuvenate two small garden areas alongside a well-used community pathway connecting Chapelhay to Weymouth town centre and the harbour.

The project aims to create a more welcoming space for the local community while making the gardens more bee and insect-friendly. 🐝

It's lovely to see the church's new Vicar, Revd Lorna Johnson, getting stuck in and helping to transform the space!

🌊 We’re heading to Kimmeridge Bay!

This Saturday, we’re proud to be supporting Project Planet Earth as part of their Big Beach Clean Weekend along the Jurassic Coast.

The team will be at Kimmeridge Bay on Saturday 10th October, from 10am –2pm, helping tackle plastic pollution and waste along this beautiful stretch of coastline.

AMS will also be supporting the wider four-day event by providing waste disposal and recycling, helping make sure everything collected gets dealt with responsibly. ♻️

And they could use some extra hands! 🙌

Whether you can spare the full four hours or just an hour, every bit of help can make a difference — and kids are welcome too.

The finish line is in sight at High Post Golf Club.

After plenty of hard work and material moved, the project is now starting to enter its final stages.

Tonight marked another important milestone, with the material infill now complete. It’s always rewarding to reach this point in a project and see the groundwork come together after all the preparation and work that’s gone into getting it here.

Attention now turns to the shaping and soiling, putting the finishing touches in place and bringing the final contours of the project to life.

There’s still work to be done, but we’re getting closer to handing over the finished result.

Small concrete job? Meet the Mini Mix 🚛

Not every project needs a full-size concrete truck and that’s where our new Mini Mix comes in.

With a 4m³ capacity, it’s perfectly suited to smaller concrete pours, from shed bases and garden projects to D.I.Y. jobs and other projects where you simply don’t need a full load.

Its shorter chassis gives it a much tighter turning circle than a standard 8-wheeler, making it easier to manoeuvre where access is restricted or space is at a premium. It also comes equipped with a larger water tank, giving our drivers greater flexibility when adjusting the slump on-site to suit your requirements.

And smaller doesn’t mean fewer options. The Mini Mix can carry the same range of concrete mixes, strengths and designs as the rest of our fleet, so you can get the concrete you need without compromise.

Got a smaller project coming up? Ask us about the Mini Mix.

📞 Call AMS on 01202 579579 to discuss your requirements.
