These guys have been serving up Craft House coffee for a while now, and they’re well and truly part of the family. Expect great coffee, a warm atmosphere and a crew that genuinely lives for the craft. If you’re in West Sussex, make sure Tamp & Grind is on your coffee hit list.

August CRAFTCLUB has arrived! Introducing Mexica Juba 〰️

For this roast, we wanted to let the coffee’s natural character shine. Grown in the remote Montaña Alta region of Guerrero, Mexico, this naturally processed coffee needed careful attention throughout the roast to bring out its vibrant, fruit-forward character. The result is a beautifully balanced cup, with sweet notes of milk chocolate, juicy raspberry and delicate orange blossom. 😋

We are excited to launch our new CURIOSITIES coffee. We’ve had a bit of fun with this one…

CURIOSITIES is an alternate coffee reality. Glitched flavours, ‘lava’ grades, Irreal-infusions, oxygen-deprived ferments; coffee oddities laced with surreal stories and Producer obsessions. These beans are not here to make sense, that’s the point. Every CURIOSITY is a small-batch release with its own story going beyond ‘limited edition’, showcasing recipes and wrapping it up in something that blends together hazy cultural references and loads of other phantastic ideas. It’s all a bit absurd.

Subscribers get exclusive 24-hour early access before each release goes live. After that, it’s first come, first served.

One of the biggest myths in coffee? That decaf compromises flavour. The truth is, a well-processed and expertly roasted decaf drops the buzz, not the taste.

Our Decaf Colombia Tumbaga is proof. Thanks to an 8-year relationship with our producer partners, a clean washed process, and a natural sugarcane decaffeination method, it keeps all the sweetness, balance and character you'd expect from a standout single-origin Colombian coffee.

Unlike traditional decaffeination methods, the sugarcane process uses a naturally derived compound from fermented sugarcane to gently remove caffeine while preserving the coffee's original flavours and natural sweetness.

As our Head of Operations, James oversees everything from manufacturing to exports. He's also a natural problem solver and is always happy to fix things around the roastery when needed.

On top of that, James is super creative - designing coffee labels, taking photos, and helping out wherever needed. We're grateful to have him on our team. 🧡

This month’s CRAFTCLUB coffee is ETHIOPIA: SWEET BERRY With tasting notes of rose, blueberry, and milk chocolate, what’s not to love? 🫐

Sweet Berry is a classic natural coffee with a built-in premium, used by the exporter Ranger to support local community projects across Ethiopia.

That means everything from building wells for access to clean water, to ongoing support for education and healthcare - real, long-term investment in the communities where this coffee is grown.

Ranger has been working in speciality coffee since 2017, with roots across Ethiopia’s highlands, from Yirgacheffe to Guji and beyond, and a real focus on the people behind the cup.

Good coffee, doing some good too.
