Chinese New Year is a season of reunion and reflection.

As Mystic Island Winery is featured as Winery of the Month at Spring Moon, The Peninsula Hong Kong, our co-founder Rita hosted a private dinner with girlfriends she met at different stages of life — from school days to friendships formed only last year.

We personally paired our wines with the evening’s menu, and it was a pleasure to see how Mystic wines’ elegance complemented the delicately cooked Cantonese dishes — from crab meat to roasted chicken and beef. Each course was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared by the Spring Moon team.

Wine has a quiet way of bringing people together. Old friends and new friends — connected through shared values, shared stories, and meaningful conversations.

Last week, Mystic Island Winery was honoured to be part of the 12th Transpacific Conference, hosted by CanCham HongKong, where our Co-Founder Rita Kung joined leaders across industries as a speaker on Investment into Sustainability and Environmental Protection.

The discussions reflected a shared belief across sectors: sustainability is no longer a parallel path to growth — it is the foundation of long-term resilience.

From aviation to finance, and from energy to agriculture, the message was clear. Meaningful progress comes from decisions made with patience, responsibility, and a long-term view.

At Mystic Island Winery, sustainability begins in the vineyard — through respect for land, climate, and time. These principles guide how we grow, make, and think about wine, today and for generations to come.
