Part-time Accounting Clerk (3 Days per week - Tue, Thu, Fri)

Details
- Company Size: Office (over 10 staff) | Retail Shop (Over 100 staff)
- Accounting Team Size: 4 persons (including Accounting Manager)

Duties:
- Report to the Accounting Department
- Handle daily accounting duties, input vouchers & invoices, and prepare statements.
- Prepare sales reports, perform stock list calculations & comparisons, and manage petty cash for retail shops.
- Handle bank reconciliation, issue cheques, and perform outdoor work to the bank occasionally

Requirements:
- Form 5 / Form 6 or above, with LCCI Level 2 or above.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (Experience in Full-set accounting is a definite advantage).
- Knowledge of Flex accounting system is preferred; good PC skills in MS Word & Excel.
- Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Duties:
- Handle monthly payroll, final payments, and MPF administration
- Process payment and expenses via corporate e-banking platforms
- Manage employee benefits programs, medical insurance, and leave tracking
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with the Employment Ordinance

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies aligning with brand identity. Analyse market trends, competitor landscapes, and historical sales data to optimise category performance and seasonal assortment planning.
- Lead the China sourcing strategy and diversify the vendor base to mitigate risk. Identify, vet, and manage strategic partnerships while implementing rigorous COGS management to maximise gross margins.
- Maintain industry-leading production standards meeting QA/QC protocols. Monitor production calendars to ensure 100% on-time delivery and drive sustainability/ethical sourcing initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and scale cross-border teams (Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production) in China and the Philippines. Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, and present strategic roadmaps to executive leadership.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in product merchandising and global sourcing, with at least 3–5 years in a senior managerial capacity.
- Proven track record in regional, cross-border team management (specifically China and Southeast Asia).
- Deep expertise in the China manufacturing landscape, vendor negotiation, matrix sourcing, and strong financial literacy (margin optimisation and COGS analysis).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese to manage international and regional stakeholders.
