1- PPE covered by categories II and III require the product to be certified by a Notified Body.
2- EU type-examination certificate is issued by the Notified Body on successful evaluation of a manufacturer’s technical file and independent testing reports.
3- The technical documentation is reviewed against the essential health and safety requirements associated with the appropriate harmonized standard(s). (For example EN 149:2001+A1:2009)
