Inside Bali International Hospital: Can Bali Become a Global Medical Tourism Hub? 🏥🌏
Our original destination was Innoquest Laboratory at Bali International Hospital, where we planned to meet Deddy Suhartawan, President Director & CEO of Innoquest Indonesia, following a previous visit to the laboratory.
But upon arriving at Bali International Hospital, we had the opportunity to meet Dr. Fellecia Rissa Anggarini, Medical Service Manager, and learn more about the hospital’s vision for healthcare in Bali.
Bali International Hospital aims to combine international healthcare standards with what it calls the Balinese Heart, that is delivering medical services with the warmth, sincerity, and genuine care that are deeply rooted in Balinese hospitality.
Located within the Sanur Special Economic Zone, Bali International Hospital also enjoys unique advantages, including access to certain international medicines not yet registered with BPOM and the ability to collaborate with specialist doctors from overseas to provide treatment in Bali.
The visit then continued to Innoquest Laboratory, where Mr. Deddy shared his thoughts on the opportunities created by Sanur’s designation as a Special Economic Zone and how Innoquest is preparing for the future.
As part of Pathology Asia, Innoquest is working to provide more accurate and personalized laboratory diagnostics, helping doctors make better-informed treatment decisions for both local and international patients. His hope is that, in the future, more Indonesians will be able to access world-class healthcare at home without needing to travel abroad for treatment.
Together, Bali International Hospital and Innoquest represent a growing vision for Bali, not only as a world-class tourism destination, but also as a destination for high-quality healthcare.
