A powerful reminder from the Headmistress of Don Bosco on the importance of road safety and helmet use.⛑️

Creating safer roads starts with awareness, responsibility, and everyday choices that protect lives.

Let’s encourage every rider and passenger to wear a helmet and make safety a habit, not an afterthought!

Safety first. Every rider. Every time.

Mumbai has imposed a strict ban on using drinking water for car and bike washing as the city faces a severe water crisis.

The seven lakes supplying Mumbai’s water are only at 10.35% capacity, and with the delayed monsoon, existing reserves will last just 40 days.

Citizens must now use borewell or well water for vehicle washing instead of potable water from the municipal supply.

Violating this ban will attract strict penalties from the BMC.

The civic body has the power to disconnect water connections, recover penalty charges, and even register water theft cases under the IPC.

General vehicle washing fines range from 7500 to 21,000, but water theft cases can lead to fines up to
75,000 and possible imprisonment.

Thane has also imposed a similar ban on all vehicles until June 10, covering both two-wheelers and cars.

Road safety begins with awareness, and awareness begins with conversations like these.

Hear from a Don Bosco teacher as they share an important message on why wearing a helmet is essential for every rider and passenger, regardless of age or distance travelled. 🚗

A helmet is not just a safety accessory. It is a simple step that can save lives, prevent serious injuries, and protect families from life-changing consequences.

Passport? ✔️
Flight Tickets? ✔️
Hotel Bookings? ✔️

But have you checked if you need an International Driving Permit (IDP)? 🌍🚗

Many travellers plan every detail of their trip but overlook the document that can help them drive legally in many countries.

Before you take off, make sure you’re road-ready too.

Every rider has a story. Some rides end safely, and some become lessons for life. 🚸

In this heart full message, a parent from Don Bosco shares why wearing a helmet is not just a rule, but a responsibility. From protecting ourselves to setting the right example for our children and parents as well, every safe choice matters. 💯

Road safety begins at home and continues on every journey! 🛣️

A school’s responsibility doesn’t end at the gate.

A strong message from Don Bosco, ensuring children’s safety on the road is just as important as their education.

Because a safe child is a confident learner! 💪

Not all helmets protect. Some only look like they do.

🚩An oversized helmet.
🚩A non-certified one.
🚩A helmet made for adults, worn by a child.

These don’t just fail safety checks…
they fail when it matters most.

A child’s head is different.
More vulnerable. More sensitive to impact.

That’s why the right helmet must be:
✅ Properly sized
✅ Lightweight
✅ ISI-certified for safety

Because a poor helmet cannot protect their dreams.

Make the right choice…every time.
