Stress takes a heavy toll on mental and emotional health, it’s important to keep it under control.
We cannot avoid all the stressful situations however we can learn strategies to cope and bounce back.
In the world of internet everything including life itself is on top speed, we have to know where we can slow down and relax.
How do we bring rhythm to life ?
Let’s keep our stress levels in check and bring in joy by doing what makes us happy 😊
Here is a small list of things which can add on to healthy happy lifestyle-
1) Talking to your friends face to face. That is by meeting then and spending time together. Face to face social interaction with someone who cares for you is the most effective way to calm your nervous system and relieve stress.
2) listen to music, read a book, watch your choice of movies or funny movies, more important have fun by being little crazy. You are born to enjoy life to the fullest.
3) make leisure time a priority. Play is an emotional and mental health necessity.
4) make time for contemplation and appreciation. Think 💭 about the things you are grateful for. Meditate, pray, enjoy the sunset, or simply take a moment to pay attention to what is good, positive and beautiful as you go about your day.
5) Learn to relax and let go. We can not control all the things so the practice to simply relax and accept the reality will help us stay calm. It’s easier said than done ✅ however if one regularly practices yoga, meditation, deep breathing, etc then we can be more calm and also let go with ease.
6) Get a good night sleep 😴 💤 . It’s a necessity. Close all the electronic gadgets two hours before you sleep. Again it’s easier said than done however those who practice this get a sound sleep and are more productive in personal and professional life.
7) spend good and quality time with people who matter to you, whether they are your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, relatives etc
The list can go on ... let’s start taking smaller steps to build a happy us and hence a happy world 🌍
