Happy Monday!

Bookbinding is full of different stages and phases. Today. We have various projects that were started last week and will be doing the next parts in the coming days.

Currently our Monday has some workshop prep, Coptic binding, longstitch binding and an X-Large guest book:)

Parts of some of the projects we have been working on this week. All very different and unique. Process, design and choosing the right materials for each project is one of my favourite parts of what I do :)

New fun collaboration we are creating . This small series is done with natural vegetable tanned leather that has been handmarbled by Jen. We have another series that will be completed soon which is a series of handsewn books with handmarbled leather :) stay tuned!

What started with two letters and ended up as a bespoke refillable leather cover . Hand worked leather with leather lining.

Another fun custom. Please meet our version of the strawberry book :) Awhile back we made an apple book which now lives in the bottega amongst its other friends. It inspired the strawberry book which is gilded by hand, full leather , handsewn with a variety of different design papers and obviously had to include a crown also known as the calyx .

This book was very enjoyable to make and now@just thinking what our next shape book should be. You design we make.
