Last night, November 25th, Chef Sandro Fioriti passed away. His funeral will take place tomorrow, November 27th, at 3:30 PM Convento di Bonaventura Via S. Francesco D’Assisi, 3, 00044 Frascati RM, Italy. He was larger than life and will be dearly missed. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy will live on through his recipes and the unique way he expressed his love through food. A memorial mass for New York will be scheduled at a later date.

Today we made our own Bread, an ancient ritual in our farmhouse as this place was also a community oven where people used to bring their raw food to be cooked in our historic oven. We obviously paired it with our extra virgin olive oil! 😋
