L’azienda agricola vitivinicola Muraro '952 s.s. è situata a sud di Vicenza, in località Longare, sul versante est dei Colli Berici, nel cuore dell’area D.O.C. dove da secoli è sinonimo di bellezza naturale e qualità vitivinicola. L’azienda vinifica uve che provengono maggiormente dai propri terreni, circa 80 ettari, ciò consente di seguire direttamente l’intero ciclo, dal terreno alla produzione

del vino. Dall’uva ricavata dai nostri terreni produciamo oltre 20 tipologie di vino, tra cui il Tai rosso, tradizionale tipico delle nostre zone. La vendita dei nostri prodotti avviene principalmente al dettaglio presso la nostra azienda ma è molto probabile assaggiare un nostro bicchiere di vino in alcuni dei locali di Vicenza e provincia.

Oggi lasciamo la parola a Maddalena, che ci accompagna alla scoperta di due grandi bianchi della nostra cantina: Traminer e Pinot Grigio.

Il Traminer aromatico regala un naso intenso ed elegante, con note di mango, litchi e pomplemo rosa; al palato è morbido, avvolgente e persistente.
Il Pinot Grigio invece è fresco e delicato, con profumi di fiori d'acacia, noce moscata e frutta tropicale, per un sorso equilibrato e piacevolmente sapido.

Due modi diversi di vivere il bianco, entrambi perfetti per l'estate: da soli in un calice fresco o in abbinamento con piatti di pesce, formaggi delicati e antipasti leggeri.

Today we hand things over to Maddalena, who takes us on a journey through two great whites from our w**ery: Traminer and Pinot Grigio.

Traminer Aromatico offers an intense and elegant bouquet with notes of mango, lychee, and pink grapefruit. On the palate, it is smooth, enveloping, and long-lasting.
Pinot Grigio, on the other hand, is fresh and delicate, with aromas of acacia blossom, nutmeg, and tropical fruit, delivering a balanced, pleasantly crisp finish.

Two different ways to enjoy white w**e, both perfect for summer: on their own in a cool glass, or paired with fish dishes, delicate cheeses and light appetizers.

Quando è il momento giusto per vendemmiare? 🍇

Non si decide guardando solo il calendario. Prima della vendemmia, in vigneto si analizza attentamente la maturazione dell’uva.
Uno degli strumenti che utilizziamo è il rifrattometro, con cui misuriamo il grado zuccherino del mosto e otteniamo il grado Babo.
Allo zucchero insieme valutiamo anche pH e acidità. È l’equilibrio tra questi parametri a darci un quadro completo dello stato di maturazione e ad aiutarci a scegliere il momento più adatto per raccogliere.

E non solo, la decisione cambia anche in base al vino che vogliamo ottenere.
Per esempio, per uno Chardonnay destinato al Metodo Classico, si può scegliere di vendemmiare prima, quando l’acidità è ancora più alta, così da preservare nel vino base freschezza, tensione e capacità di evoluzione 🥂

La vendemmia non è semplicemente “quando l’uva è pronta”, è quando l’uva ha raggiunto l’equilibrio giusto per il vino che vogliamo produrre, ogni scelta conta!

When is the right time to harvest? 🍇

One of the tools we use is a refractometer, which measures the sugar content of the must and gives us the Babo degree.
Alongside sugar levels, we also assess pH and acidity. The balance between these parameters gives us a complete picture of the grapes’ ripeness and helps us determine the ideal time to harvest.

And that’s not all: the decision also depends on the type of w**e we want to produce.
For example, when producing Chardonnay for the Traditional Method, we may choose to harvest earlier, when acidity is still higher, in order to preserve freshness, tension, and ageing potential in the base w**e 🥂

Harvest isn’t simply about picking the grapes when they are “ready”. It’s about harvesting when the grapes have reached the right balance for the w**e we want to create. Every choice matters!

Se fuori fa troppo caldo, la nostra sala degustazione è il posto perfetto per rallentare: un ambiente fresco, raccolto e piacevole dove rifugiarsi dal calore estivo e scegliere il vino da assaggiare con la W**e Card.
Oppure, quando le temperature lo permettono, potete accomodarvi all’esterno, appena fuori dalla cantina o sotto la nostra pompeiana, per vivere la degustazione all’aria aperta ☀️

Giallo paglierino brillante, al naso è un tripudio di note floreali, frutta matura e sentori di miele. Al palato è dolce, morbido, con quella piacevole effervescenza che lo rende irresistibile.

“Ci sono quattro tipologie di vino: rosso, bianco, buono e cattivo.”
Ok, sulla quarta apriamo una parentesi e torniamo subito seri 😉

In cantina scegliamo di utilizzare pochissimi conservanti e quantità minime di solforosa, per preservare il vino cercando di intervenire il meno possibile.
E se una volta a casa notate un po’ di fondo o qualche segnale di rifermentazione? Non significa necessariamente che il vino non sia buono.
Temperatura e condizioni di conservazione possono influire molto sulla stabilità del vino, soprattutto nei mesi più caldi.

Il nostro consiglio?
I vini più strutturati e con una gradazione maggiore possono conservarsi più a lungo.
Per gli altri, soprattutto in estate, meglio acquistare quantità più contenute e consumarle con maggiore frequenza.

E se avete dubbi su una bottiglia o sulla sua conservazione, scriveteci o passate in cantina: siamo sempre a disposizione per consigliarvi.

Okay, let’s open a little parenthesis on the fourth one and get serious again 😉

What if, once you get home, you notice some sediment or signs of refermentation? This doesn’t necessarily mean that the w**e is not good.
Temperature and storage conditions can have a significant impact on the w**e’s stability, especially during the warmer months.

Our advice?
More structured w**es with higher alcohol content can generally be stored for longer.
For the others, especially in summer, it’s better to buy smaller quantities and consume them more frequently.

And if you have any questions about a bottle or how to store it, send us a message or come and visit us at the w**ery: we’re always happy to help.

Because for us, the Muraro ’952 experience doesn’t end when the bottle leaves the w**ery 🥂

Due nuovi arrivi in cantina, due vini che raccontano tanto lavoro✨
Vi presentiamo Longana delle Rive e Giaroni delle Argille: due nuove espressioni nate da un lungo percorso fatto di vigna, prove, scelte e tanta passione.

🥂 Longana delle Rive, da uve Manzoni Bianco.
🍷Giaroni delle Argille, una nuova versione, più intensa, del nostro amato Giaroni, da Carménère e Syrah.
Sono già disponibili in cantina e non vediamo l’ora di farveli assaggiare.

Per ora non vi sveliamo altro… 😉

🍷 Giaroni delle Argille, a new, more intense version of our beloved Giaroni, made from Carménère and Syrah.
They are already available at the w**ery, and we can’t wait for you to taste them.
