On August 26, the 𝑆𝑢𝑛 𝑃𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠 called at Taranto for the first time, becoming the largest ship ever hosted by Taranto Cruise Port.
📏 Measuring 345 meters in length and with a gross tonnage of nearly 178,000 tons (177,882 GT), the Sun Princess is the flagship of the Princess Cruises fleet. On board, a top-tier culinary experience, personalized service, and world-class entertainment awaited the 4,627 guests on board: the highest guest count ever recorded in Taranto.
🤝 To welcome Princess Cruises, Taranto Cruise Port organized the traditional welcome ceremony, and our General Manager Raffaella Del Prete exchanged the Terminal's crests with Captain Mario Ciruzzi, at the helm of the ship.
An important day for the Taranto terminal and for the entire region, shared with the local Authorities who took part in the ceremony.

Il 26 agosto la 𝑆𝑢𝑛 𝑃𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠 ha scalato per la prima volta a Taranto, diventando la nave più grande mai ospitata da Taranto Cruise Port.
📏 Lunga 345 metri e con una stazza di quasi 178.000 tonnellate (177.882 GT), la Sun Princess è l'ammiraglia della flotta Princess Cruises. A bordo, un’esperienza culinaria di alto livello, un servizio personalizzato e intrattenimento di altissimo livello per i 4.627 passeggeri a bordo: il numero ospiti più alto mai registrato a Taranto.
🤝 Per dare il benvenuto alla Princess Cruises, Taranto Cruise Port ha organizzato la tradizionale cerimonia di benvenuto e la nostra General Manager Raffaella Del Prete, ha scambiato i crest del Terminal con il Comandante Mario Ciruzzi, alla guida della nave.
Una giornata importante per il terminal di Taranto e per tutto il territorio, condivisa anche con le Autorità locali intervenute alla cerimonia.
