But to connect in a genuinely deep way.

We talked about career, power, money, relationships, s*x because at this table, we don’t shy away from the “hard” topics. After all, if we don’t shape those narratives, someone else will do it for us.

We even had a 26 year old at the table — a reminder that we’re here to support and impact the next generation.

Your girl is running on cold brew and 3 hours of sleep but DAMN, am I leaving NY with a heart so fu***ng full!

I have so much more to say, but for now, I’m going home to my babies and hermitting for a few days (Projector problems)! 😆

This week, I’m traveling to NY and leaving my two little ones at home.

I’ve done many a solo travel in the past, but this one feels different.

On the one hand, I’m ECSTATIC about this epic event I’m hosting (not to mention having five full days not having someone tugging and crying at me asking for food 😆) — and also, I feel sadness and hesitation for leaving my boys on the other side of the coast.

At a time when Ambition and Motherhood are being pitted against each other, I’m straddling both sides:

An ambitious founder who loves my work and has a vision for a big global footprint + a devoted Mama whose priority is being a present parent.

We’re in a culture war: “tradwife vs boss Mom”.

I’m not falling for it.

What if motherhood wasn’t pillared in self-sacrifice and ambition was tempered.

And perhaps the way to sustainably reconcile ambition and motherhood is through one thing: CHOICE.

Agency to choose where we fall on the spectrum of ambition, and sovereignty to activate it in our own pace.

I know my work transcends my own goals and ripples beyond my time.

Stellium is here for women building worlds, and that world will be inherited by my boys — THAT is why the stakes are so high. THAT is why I do what I do.

So as I kiss them goodbye, I hope they know Mom is doing this for her, AND for them.
