Team Virteffic is a virtual support team who collaborate remotely to service our clients. Communication is important.

Virteffic is a support team of virtual assistants based in Jersey, that provides secretarial support and administration services to assist local businesses of any sizes and busy individuals. A larger team means more resources available, with diversified skills and expertise that operate at different fee levels. It is a viable solution that is simple, has low cost and offers great flexibility. Our virtual team members work efficiently and provides flexibility to you and your business at a low cost. Once you have engaged with Virteffic, you will have access to our diversified talent pool and receive services from the full team, who will manage the workload together as a collaborative team with support from their Virteffic team manager. Our standard practice is to clearly and consistently communicate with our clients in relation to expectations around tasks, deadlines and capacity. We use regular reminders and an internal project management software system so that our virtual team can be just as effective as if they were working together in an office. Senior support is available for the virtual team to provide guidance and assistance when needed, before reaching out to the clients should any further information be required. Security and confidentiality are vital for our business. Virteffic has invested in all the technology and software required to ensure we can work securely and efficiently, and we also have IT support from a local provider on hand if required. We have numerous communication options available and our clients will choose a communication style that works best for them. We recognize that remote work is not right for everyone. When building our team, we make sure we choose people who are flexible, highly organized workers who can work independently with the support of their virtual team manager, and who thrive in a remote work setup. All our team members are reliable, diligent, and have excellent communication skills. You can contract with Virteffic to receive services from the full team, who will manage the workload together as a collaborative team. You can also choose to contract with only one specific team member.

Christina, Jasmine and Brenna joined Virteffic for different reasons.

🩵Christina wanted a new professional chapter that could bring meaningful work and family life together.

🩵Jasmine wanted the flexibility to make work work for her life.

🩵Brenna wanted a supportive place to begin her first professional role and discover where her career might take her.

Three people at different stages of life, each looking for something different from work.

They have now joined Tess and a wider team with its own mix of careers, experiences and perspectives.

One of our favourite observations came from Brenna after she met colleagues from across Virteffic. She noticed that everyone had followed different paths and brought different strengths. In her words, that is when “the best ideas can come forward.”

That is the sort of team we want Virteffic to be.

Starting your first professional role is exciting, but it can also be daunting.

For Brenna, joining Virteffic meant moving from university life into a completely new working environment.

What attracted her was not having every step of her future mapped out. It was having the opportunity to learn, build new skills and begin discovering what she enjoys.

Virteffic’s remote-first approach also appealed to her interest in balance and wellbeing. She wanted a working environment that would give her structure and responsibility while allowing her to work in a way that supported her motivation.
Her first few weeks have involved questions, training, new tasks and plenty of new people.

What helped most was knowing that colleagues were available when she needed support, whether that meant answering a message or jumping onto a call to explain something.

That is exactly the experience we want someone to have when they begin their career with us.

Jasmine has followed a varied route to Virteffic, but when we asked what attracted her to the team, her answer was refreshingly simple: “The flexibility to make work work for me and my life.”

That flexibility was not about wanting less from her work. It was about finding a way of working that fitted better, while still being part of a motivated team and continuing to learn and contribute.

Her first impressions have reinforced that decision. Jasmine described everyone as welcoming and kind, while also being driven and efficient.

She also said that her onboarding was the most organised she had experienced, which we were rather pleased to hear.

For us, flexible working only succeeds when people also feel connected, supported and clear about what they are doing.

Jasmine’s experience is a lovely reminder that flexibility and high standards are not opposites.

For Christina, joining Virteffic is more than a new role. It marks the beginning of a different professional chapter.

After becoming a mum, what Christina wanted from working life changed. She still wanted meaningful work, professional challenge and the opportunity to keep learning. But she also wanted greater flexibility and a way of working that could sit more comfortably alongside family life.

Virteffic offered her the chance to bring those things together.

There was also something familiar about the move. Joining the team reunited Christina with former colleagues after around 15 years, bringing established relationships into a completely different working environment.

Since arriving, she has enjoyed getting to know the wider team and discovering more about the organisations we support.

Christina’s story is a reminder that wanting to work differently does not mean stepping back. Sometimes it simply means finding the right place for your next chapter.

☕💚 Coffee, catch-ups and a very good cause.🩵

This morning Team Virteffic swapped our usual meetings for a virtual coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Being a fully remote team gives us flexibility in how and where we work, but that makes creating opportunities to simply get together, catch up and enjoy each other’s company even more important. There were coffees, plenty of friendly faces and a little time away from the working day to reconnect. Most importantly, it was all in support of a fantastic cause.

Virteffic is also delighted to be making a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.

For us, building a great place to work isn’t just about where you work. It’s about the people you work with, feeling connected and supported, and making time for the things that matter.

A lovely way to end the working week. ☕💚🩵
