Team Virteffic is a virtual support team who collaborate remotely to service our clients. Communication is important.

Virteffic is a support team of virtual assistants based in Jersey, that provides secretarial support and administration services to assist local businesses of any sizes and busy individuals. A larger team means more resources available, with diversified skills and expertise that operate at different fee levels. It is a viable solution that is simple, has low cost and offers great flexibility. Our

virtual team members work efficiently and provides flexibility to you and your business at a low cost. Once you have engaged with Virteffic, you will have access to our diversified talent pool and receive services from the full team, who will manage the workload together as a collaborative team with support from their Virteffic team manager. Our standard practice is to clearly and consistently communicate with our clients in relation to expectations around tasks, deadlines and capacity. We use regular reminders and an internal project management software system so that our virtual team can be just as effective as if they were working together in an office. Senior support is available for the virtual team to provide guidance and assistance when needed, before reaching out to the clients should any further information be required. Security and confidentiality are vital for our business. Virteffic has invested in all the technology and software required to ensure we can work securely and efficiently, and we also have IT support from a local provider on hand if required. We have numerous communication options available and our clients will choose a communication style that works best for them. We recognize that remote work is not right for everyone. When building our team, we make sure we choose people who are flexible, highly organized workers who can work independently with the support of their virtual team manager, and who thrive in a remote work setup. All our team members are reliable, diligent, and have excellent communication skills. You can contract with Virteffic to receive services from the full team, who will manage the workload together as a collaborative team. You can also choose to contract with only one specific team member.

Six years ago, Virteffic was launched during the uncertainty of the pandemic with a simple idea, a lot of determination and no guarantee of where the journey would lead.

What began as a one-person business has evolved into a team of experienced governance and company secretarial professionals supporting Boards, governance teams and organisations across Jersey, Guernsey and beyond.

Over the last six years we've had the privilege of working with fantastic clients, welcoming incredible team members, supporting thousands of meetings, learning from countless governance conversations and continuing to evolve as a business.

This year has also been a year of investment as we continue developing our people, technology, expertise and relationships to ensure we can provide the highest standard of support to our clients.

We're incredibly proud to support initiatives that make a positive difference in our local community.

Recently, we received a lovely update from Jersey Children's Day showing how Virteffic's sponsorship helped bring creativity, imagination and fun to hundreds of children and families.

Our contribution helped provide 500 bubble wands, a Play-Doh activity table and creative wand-making activities, giving children the opportunity to learn, create and play together throughout the day.

As a Channel Islands-based business, we believe that success is about more than the work we deliver. It is also about contributing to the communities where we live, work and raise our families.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers and everyone involved in Jersey Children's Day. The photographs and feedback shared with us demonstrate the real impact that community events like this can have.

We are delighted to have played a small part in supporting such a fantastic event. 💙

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧. 🎾✈️
This weekend gave me the chance to compete in the Titan Wealth Padel Tournament, catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and explore opportunities that could benefit Virteffic, our clients and our team in the future.

Today has been all about client approvals and internal projects before heading to London for the CGI Corporate Governance Conference. A few days of networking, learning and catching up with people across the profession before returning later this week for more meetings and events.

One thing I've learned whilst building Virteffic is that some of the biggest opportunities don't come from planned meetings. They come from conversations, shared ideas and the relationships you build over time.

The illustration probably makes the week look a little chaotic... and that's not far from the truth! 😄 But it's also a reminder of why flexibility matters. Balancing client commitments, business development, learning and supporting our team is all part of building something for the long term.

At the heart of it all is the same goal:

Because great governance has always been, and always will be, about people.

It's certainly been a warm week across the Channel Islands! Our team in Jersey and Guernsey has been making the most of the sunshine in all sorts of ways...

🌊 Refreshing sea swims
🌳 Green lane strolls
💻 Shaded outdoor workspaces
🍦 Well-deserved ice cream breaks
🏃 Early morning runs
🐕 Dog walks before the heat
🌞 A few moments to recharge before getting back to work

And if we're being honest... client board meetings in air-conditioned boardrooms have never been quite so popular! 😄❄️

One of the things we value most at Virteffic is flexibility. Our team can plan their day around what works best for them, whether that means starting earlier, working during the cooler parts of the day, or taking a proper break before picking things back up.

That flexibility helps our team look after their wellbeing while continuing to deliver the high standard of support our clients rely on every day.
