MATS will implement the final phase of the Malta Free Route Airspace (FRA) Project by introducing Cross Border FRA with Italy from FL195 and above.

This airspace improvement will allow airspace users to file flight plans without route constraints resulting in improved efficiency, reduced fuel burn and shorter flight times.

This project is co-financed through the CLEAN ATM3 Initiative (🇪🇺)
