BUILDING STRATEGIC THINKING | PREPARING JLG SECURITAS FOR THE FUTURE

As part of our continuous effort to strengthen leadership capability and strategic thinking, JLG Securitas conducted an internal management sharing session focusing on the evolving landscape of Malaysia’s security industry and the organisation’s future direction.

The session went beyond day-to-day security operations. It encouraged the management team to understand the bigger business environment — where the industry is heading, what is changing around us, and how JLG Securitas must position itself to remain competitive and relevant.

Among the key areas discussed were Malaysia’s security industry outlook and market potential, external environment and megatrends, competitive landscape, SWOT analysis, emerging technologies, manpower challenges, customer expectations, and future growth opportunities.

A key message from the session was clear:

> We cannot manage tomorrow’s security challenges using yesterday’s security model.

The security industry is evolving from traditional manpower-intensive guarding towards a more integrated approach combining:

PEOPLE • TECHNOLOGY • INTELLIGENCE

For JLG Securitas, this transformation means strengthening our core guarding operations while progressively developing capabilities in technology-enabled security, Centralised Monitoring Systems (CMS), AI CCTV and video analytics, remote guarding, drones, integrated command and control, professional security training, consultancy and specialised security solutions.

The session also highlighted the importance of understanding our own organisational position through SWOT analysis — recognising our strengths, addressing capability gaps, capturing emerging opportunities and preparing ourselves against external threats.

Most importantly, strategic transformation cannot be driven by senior leadership alone.

Every member of the management team must develop the ability to think beyond Business-As-Usual (BAU), understand the commercial implications of operational decisions, identify opportunities, manage risks and continuously seek better ways of delivering value to our clients.

Our ambition towards 2031 requires us to develop not only better Security Officers, but also better supervisors, better managers and future leaders who understand both security operations and the business of security.

The journey ahead is about moving:

KUNJUNGAN HORMAT JLG SECURITAS KE PUSAT KHIDMAT DUN KEMPAS

JLG Securitas telah mengadakan kunjungan hormat kepada ADUN Kempas, YB Datuk Ramlee Bohani, sempena pembukaan Pusat Khidmat Wakil Rakyat DUN Kempas yang baharu, yang terletak bersebelahan dengan pejabat JLG Securitas di Kompleks TSN, Taman Dahlia, Johor Bahru.

Delegasi JLG Securitas diketuai oleh Mej Yusri Latip, Business Unit Director, bersama En. Naquiyuddin, Head of Operations, dan En. Aiman, Staf Tadbir.

Kunjungan ini menjadi ruang yang baik untuk mengeratkan hubungan silaturahim dan engagement bersama kepimpinan setempat, khususnya apabila JLG Securitas dan Pusat Khidmat DUN Kempas kini berada dalam komuniti perniagaan dan kawasan yang sama.

Pertemuan turut membuka ruang kepada perkongsian mengenai peranan dan operasi JLG Securitas sebagai penyedia perkhidmatan keselamatan, serta komitmen syarikat dalam menyumbang kepada persekitaran yang selamat, teratur dan kondusif kepada masyarakat serta komuniti setempat.

Sebagai sebuah organisasi yang beroperasi di kawasan Kempas, JLG Securitas percaya bahawa hubungan yang baik antara sektor korporat, kepimpinan setempat dan komuniti merupakan antara elemen penting dalam membina ekosistem masyarakat yang lebih selamat dan sejahtera.

Kunjungan turut disempurnakan dengan pertukaran cenderamata sebagai tanda penghargaan dan hubungan baik antara kedua-dua pihak.

Setinggi-tinggi penghargaan kepada YB Datuk Ramlee Bohani dan warga Pusat Khidmat DUN Kempas atas sambutan mesra yang diberikan kepada delegasi JLG Securitas.

Tahniah juga atas pembukaan pusat khidmat yang baharu. Semoga ia terus menjadi platform yang dekat dengan rakyat serta memberi manfaat kepada seluruh masyarakat DUN Kempas.
