It is heartbreaking to see a woman who has a husband, a successful business, and children doing well abroad still choose to stage her own kidnap and engage in an extra-marital affair to the extent of causing her husband emotional pain and serious health challenges.

Sometimes, situations like this make one wonder what is happening to morals, loyalty, dignity, and the value of family in this generation.

DEAR MEN, CONGRATULATION IF YOUR WIFE CONTROL YOU.

In my little experience, I have never seen a genuinely submissive, respectful, and responsible woman, one who honours her husband, does not talk back or down on him, and understands her role as a wife in her husband’s home, whose husband truly regrets marrying her or seeks divorce.

A man does not spend his time, money, resources, and involve families in marriage simply to enslave, maltreat, dominate, or weaken a woman. To man, marriage is ideally built on love, care, peace, and a sincere desire for each other’s wellbeing.

Rather, I have observed that genuinely respectful, supportive, and responsible women often have strong influence over their husbands, to the extent that outsiders may assume the man has been charmed. In most cases, it is not charm, but peace, wisdom, love, understanding, and mutual respect that strengthen the relationship.

If anyone has a contrary view based on personal experience as a victim or an eyewitness and not mere hearsay, such a person is free to object to my opinion.

VDM IS CLEARLY USING MANIPULATION TACTICS ON BLORD CASE.

Whether by coincidence or design, Blord was arraigned on the last sitting day before the Easter recess, Easter Thursday. It is well known that courts typically proceed on a two-week break after Easter.

As such, anyone arraigned on that day would ordinarily remain in custody until the courts resume. This is standard procedure, nothing extraordinary.

However, VDM has chosen to twist this routine judicial process, presenting it as though it were a result of his personal influence. It is not.

This is where his manipulative tendencies become evident, and unfortunately, where some of his followers show a willingness to believe anything they are told.

Now that the vacation judge has resumed sitting today, Blord’s bail application will be heard. Given the nature of the case, he is likely to be granted bail and regain his freedom.

VDM is fully aware of this and understands that he has no power to prevent it.
Yet, instead of allowing due process to take its course, he has gone about claiming that people pleaded with him and that, out of goodwill, he directed his lawyers not to oppose the bail application.

This narrative is misleading and tailored to sway an uncritical audience. The reality remains that neither VDM nor any legal team he engages can stop the grant of bail in this matter. It is not a capital offence, and the outcome will be based on established legal principles, not anyone’s personal influence or grace.

WHY IS BLORD NOT OUT FROM PRISON

The Federal High Court is currently on vacation until 20th April 2026. It is important for all concerned, especially Blord’s supporters to understand that court proceedings are governed strictly by law and procedure, not by sentiments or informal arrangements like family or elders’ meetings.

No amount of wealth or influence can compel the Chief Judge to shorten or alter a judicial vacation that has already been officially fixed. The lawyers working with the complainant has calculated this move to keep Blord in correction facility.

The court operates within established rules, and those rules must be respected by everyone, regardless of status.

As a businessperson, it is always wise to avoid unnecessary conflicts, particularly with individuals who may feel they have nothing to lose. Such situations can escalate beyond control and create avoidable legal complications.

At this point, the most practical course of action for Omoyele and his legal team is to remain calm, comply with due process, and maintain regular visits or communication with Blord while allowing the legal system to take its proper course.

Court Rules That Nigerians Have Right to Video Police On Duty, Awards N7m Damages for Rights Violation

The Federal High Court sitting in Warri, Delta State, has delivered a landmark ruling affirming that Nigerians have the constitutional right to record police officers while they carry out their duties in public.

Delivering judgment on Tuesday in suit number FHC/WR/CS/87/2025, Justice H. A. Nganjiwa held that police officers must wear visible name tags, display their force numbers, and must not harass, intimidate, arrest, or seize devices from citizens documenting their activities.

The court also awarded the applicant, Maxwell Uwaifo, N5 million in d@mages for the violation of his fundamental rights, alongside N2 million to cover litigation costs.

By granting all the reliefs sought, the court reinforced the right of Nigerians to freely document police actions in public spaces without fear of intimidation or retaliation.

Reacting to the ruling, Mr Uwaifo described the judgment as a major step forward for accountability.

“This judgement has significant implications for policing standards, civil liberties, and public accountability across Nigeria,” he said in a statement shared with newsmen on Tuesday.
“The court made far-reaching pronouncements on police accountability and citizens’ constitutional rights.”

MARRIAGE TO A SINGLE PARENT COMES WITH ITS REALITIES.

Marriage to a single parent comes with its realities, and one of the concerns people often overlook is the possibility of former partners reconnecting for the sake of the child. Sometimes, co-parenting can gradually bring ex-couples closer again.

This does not mean single parents do not deserve love or another chance at happiness. Many found themselves in that situation due to circumstances beyond their control, and they deserve understanding, not judgment.

Recent public situations, like that of Tonto Dikeh and her ex-partner Mr. Churchill reportedly coming together for their child, remind us that the dynamics of past relationships can sometimes evolve.

However, it is important to understand the legal position: once a marriage has been dissolved, the parties are no longer husband and wife in the eyes of the law.

If they choose to come back together, they must contract a new marriage under the law. Otherwise, their relationship remains nothing more than a private arrangement and legally, they are not married.

Emotions and reconciliation are personal, but marital status is a matter of law.

THE LAND THAT WAS SOLD TWICE

Mr. ADEBAYO was a retired civil servant who owned a large piece of land at the outskirts of Lagos.

As retirement expenses grew, he decided to sell part of the land.

One Monday morning, Mr. Chinedu visited the land. He liked the location, paid the full amount, and collected a Deed of Assignment in respect of the land. Happy with his purchase, he planned to start building but decided to wait until the four months.

A month later, Mr. ADEBAYO met Mrs. Bisi, who was also looking for land. Tempted by the rising prices, Mr. ADEBAYO with the fear of God, did the unthinkable. Guess what he did? Mr. ADEBAYO sold the same land again to Mrs. Bisi.

Unlike Chinedu, Mrs. Bisi acted quickly. She Fenced the land, put a signboard which read: “This land belongs to Mrs. Bisi”,
Mrs. Bisi also processed Governor’s Consent, and registered her documents.

Two months later, Chinedu arrived with blocks and workers. He stopped in shock.

“Madam, what are you doing on my land?” he asked.

Mrs. Bisi replied calmly,
“I bought this land legally. My documents are registered.”

Both rushed to court. During the trial, the judge considered:

1. Chinedu bought first, but he did nothing to show ownership.
2. Mrs. Bisi bought without knowing about the earlier sale. She fenced, took possession, and registered her title.

The court held that:
Mrs. Bisi is a bona fide purchaser for value without notice and has the better title. The land was awarded to Mrs. Bisi.

Mr. ADEBAYO, however, was ordered to refund Chinedu and pay damages for the double sale.

2027 GENERAL ELECTION : Is Already Being Decided, Votes Don’t Fail Nigeria, The Foundation Does.

Every election year, Nigerians cry “rigging” after results are announced. We focus on ballot papers, BVAS, and result sheets, while ignoring the structure that controls everything from the top.

After every election, protests begin. Allegations fill the air. Court cases follow. Religious houses organize prayers. Yet, the real problem is rarely confronted.

The 2027 general election will not be different unless Nigerians stop asking only, “Who won the election?” and start asking: “Who controls the system that declares the winner?”

The hard truth is this, many elections are effectively decided long before election day. Election manipulation does not start at the polling unit. It begins at the foundation.

That foundation starts with the appointment of those who supervise the election, especially the leadership of the electoral body (INEC).

When such appointments are influenced by political loyalty or expectations of future benefits, neutrality becomes questionable from the outset.

The concern does not end there. It extends to key institutional appointments, including the judiciary. When institutions meant to serve as independent referees are perceived as products of political patronage, public confidence in the system weakens.

Ironically, after elections, candidates rush to the courts expecting justice from a structure whose independence is already in doubt.

You cannot build a credible election on a faulty foundation. Even prayers and declarations cannot fix structural defects in governance.

Nigeria’s electoral challenge is not just about counting votes. It is about institutional independence, transparency, and accountability from the beginning.

Until we fix the foundation, elections may continue to produce the wrong leaders, to the detriment of the Nigerian nation.

If we don’t fix the system before 2027, we may vote again but nothing will change. Do you agree?
