Really proud of this one.

My good friend Nigel just released his very first EP, entirely written, arranged, and performed by himself. Guitars, bass, keys, drums, vocals… every instrument you hear on the record was played by him.

What makes it extra special to me is that every electric guitar track on the EP was recorded using the Rojo MV I built for him last year. There’s something incredibly rewarding about hearing an instrument you poured so much time and care into become part of someone’s music and creative voice.

Huge credit as well to Kramer for the recording and production work in his studio. I had the chance to sit in on a few sessions, and watching these two work together was honestly inspiring. Like a perfectly oiled machine!

And the best part? They’re already working together on a second EP!

I’m seriously proud of my friends and of what they created together.

Go give both of them a follow and take some time to listen to the first Vulpolar EP!

Rojo MVO-TE – with Built-in Delay

This Rojo MVO-TE is the first Tele-style configuration on the MVO body shape, which already makes it a special one for me.

The roasted swamp ash body, finished in aged vintage white nitro with an open grain texture, keeps things raw and honest, letting the wood do most of the talking. This one also turned out extremely lightweight.

The roasted maple neck is finished with hardwax, giving it a smooth and natural feel in the hand, paired with a rosewood fretboard.

It’s equipped with one of the first Tele sets from my friend Jarvin at FWL Pickups, which makes this build even more special. It sounds freaking awesome!

The built-in Faux Delay circuit is something I previously used on a custom MV build for my client Benoit, and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to explore it again in this guitar. It allows you to control your delay without having to sit on your knees in front of a pedalboard. The four roller k***s keep everything subtle and integrated into the design.

Do keep in mind that the delay sits in front of your signal chain, which gives it its own character and way of interacting with your pedals.

A simple concept at first glance, but with a few details that make it stand out.

What a great day at the Vintage Guitar Show Veenendaal!

We had an amazing time at the last edition of the Vintage Gutiar Show Veenendaal, surrounded by so many great guitars, players, and fellow enthusiasts. Lots of familiar faces and also many new ones!

I brought a selection of Rojo Guitars, and it was great to see so many people checking them out, playing them, and sharing their thoughts. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the stand, always a pleasure talking guitars and tone!
