Australia and New Zealand have published AS/NZS 62368.1:2026, the latest safety standard for ICT and AV equipment based on IEC 62368-1 4th Edition.

While the current version remains valid until 2029, manufacturers are encouraged to begin testing to the new version now. Existing IEC 62368-1 3rd Edition test reports may also require gap analysis to address updated national differences.

India’s MeitY has released new Series Guidelines for products covered under IS/IEC 62368-1:2023, introducing revised requirements for grouping multiple models under a single BIS CRS registration.
