The International Council of Clean Transport have determined that EV’s are the clear winner when it comes to vehicle life cycle emissions. Hybrids emit over 2 times more greenhouse gas emissions and ICE over 3 times.

When you take into account NZ’s 80+% renewable energy profile these numbers will be substantially more favourable for Kiwis driving EV’s.

New funding is helping to power up the next stage of Carbn’s sustainable growth. This will see Carbn’s subsidiary, Sustainable Fleet Finance Ltd, to finance further private corporate and government fleet transitions to EV’s. The finance deal is a collaboration between existing lending from New Zealand Green Investment Finance, Sustainable Fleet Finance Ltd and ASB.
The transport industry accounts for 19% of New Zealand’s greenhouse gas emissions. Accelerating transport emission reductions, will have a significant impact on NZ’s overall emissions profile.
