This Daffodil Day, the MITA team is proud to stand alongside the many New Zealanders affected by cancer - our whānau, friends, colleagues and communities.

Every daffodil represents hope, support and the difference we can make when we stand together.

Team Squirrel CJM2 in action in Ōtautahi, Christchurch.

Ever wondered how we name our training teams? 🤔

Team Squirrel, Team Hulk, Team Moana (no, not the Disney princess!) - our Operations Team has the fun, and sometimes challenging, job of finding unique names for every new team.

We choose a theme and work our way through the alphabet, selecting a name for each letter. Over the years, our themes have included conductor types, rugby teams, Marvel characters, New Zealand rivers and native birds.

We’ve now entered the world of Greek mythology - Look out for Team Hercules! ⚡️💪

We’re getting ready for and can’t wait to be part of one of the Electricity Supply Industry’s biggest events!

Annual Connection is always a fantastic opportunity to bring the industry together showcasing skill, competition, teamwork and expertise, while celebrating the people who keep our industry moving.

This year, our MITA kaiako will once again be getting involved behind the scenes, supporting the event with logistics and judging throughout the competition.

You’ll also find the MITA tent on site, so whether you’re competing, supporting a team or just coming along to be part of the action, make sure you stop by and say hello!
