15 YEARS OF MITA - AND WE’RE STILL GOING STRONG!
In 2026, MITA Consulting celebrates 15 years of supporting New Zealand’s Electricity Supply Industry.
Since 2011, we’ve been committed to one thing: developing the skills, knowledge and practical capability needed to keep our industry safe, skilled and moving forward.
Over those 15 years, we’ve worked alongside employers, networks, industry partners and learners throughout New Zealand, delivering training across Line Mechanics, Cable Jointing, Live Line, High Voltage Switching and specialist electrical safety programmes.
And we’re proud of what that work represents.
In its 2023 evaluation, NZQA recognised MITA’s significant contribution to industry training, reporting that we provided approximately 90% of the training for the Line Mechanic Distribution and Cable Jointing strands of the New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply.
That achievement belongs to our trainers, assessors, support team, industry partners, employers and, above all, the learners who have trusted us with their training and development.
The industry continues to evolve. Training models change. Organisations enter new phases. But the need for experienced, practical, industry-focused training remains.
MITA is an established, independent training provider with a proud history, experienced people and a continued commitment to delivering for the electricity supply industry.
