SITUATION VACANT - Point of Sale & Eftpos Technician

We are looking for a suitable person to join our growing Eftpos, POS & Cash Registers business.
Established in 1993, Kiwi Eftpos & POS Group are looking for a confident and self-motivated individual to join us. Our Motto is - “It’s all about service” and someone joining us must have this attitude.
We want someone who can support the technical side of our Eftpos and Point of Sale business. Key skills to learn are servicing, troubleshooting & programming along with installs and support, but while the main focus is on the Technical, good communications skills are essential as much of this work is customer focused.
We are looking for that unique 'all rounder' who once trained is capable of getting stuck in and do whatever needs to be done! The best thing is you'll work independently, where job satisfaction comes through solving all sorts of technology problems.
Qualifications are not essentially important, but enthusiasm, passion and a good proven general understanding of IT/Computers and networking is necessary. So, if you're good with people, love working with computers and tech, have a natural ability to make stuff work, and would like to have fun whilst doing top quality work, then join our team!
With the latest release of new Online and PC based POS software systems and a never-ending degree of new products and developments happening, someone with good general IT, PC and networking experience would be of benefit as we move more to this area. Key is learning to understand customer requirements and matching a solution that suits the customer’s need.
If you possess the following qualities we want to hear from you:
* Demonstrate a degree of IT knowledge
* Strong customer focus, communication and "people" skills.
* A "Can Do" attitude - you are willing to roll up your sleeves and help out with any task
* Proficient in Microsoft office packages
* Quick learner (and will pick up and read a manual)
* Fantastic organisation and time management skills
* Networking Experience an advantage
* Loads of initiative!

* A Full NZ Driver’s license and clean driving record.
* Be available for rostered On Call after-hours work.
* Must have proficient English and communication skills.
* Must already be a NZ Resident or already qualified to work in NZ.
* Be a team player and must have a sense of humour.
